We needed this gate for a stairwell with an extra wide opening & it has worked like a charm! Easy to use (even holding a child)! Great product and well worth the extra expense as compared to other gates

The gate works very well. We were really stuck with a problem since our kitchen and living room are not separated by an even wall. There are shelves in the way of a regular gate. I was a little apprehensive when I saw all the reviews about how hard this gate was to install, but the price was right and I have a tricky angle I needed a gate for.
