Avatar the Last Airbender 2007 Calendar2 reviews

Meadwestvaco, 2006

Only one of its kind
This is the only Avatar the Last Airbender Calendar around. It has fine graphics and an excellent, wide format;which works well for young adults. It is a must for fans of the Nickelodeon animated series. The only drawback may lie in not including pictures of all of the major characters.

Avatar: The Last Airbender (The Art of the Animated Series)14 reviews
Bryan Konietzko, Michael DiMartino

Dark Horse, 2010

Beyond expectations
The book is excellent! The quality is top-notch. The pages are nice and thick, the printing brings the amazing drawings to life, and the coffee table size of it is perfect for the content, which is incredible. I've never seen a single source that gives more in-depth, behind the scenes information on the series than this book. And it's narrated by the creators themselves! If you're a fan of the ...

Avatar Box Set: Vols 1-3 (Avatar: The Last Airbender)15 reviews
Bryan Kanietzko, Michael Dante Dimartino

TokyoPop, 2006

Excitement, Adventure - a review of "Avatar - Volume 1"
If you are not familiar with the world of the Avatar there are four different realms of 'bending' or mastery of the elements: air, fire, water, and earth. Aang, the principle character, is the last Airbender and the one who is destined to be the Avatar, or person who is to master all four bending traditions in order to save the world from the dominance plans of the Fire Nation. As for the ...

Avatar: The Last Airbender 1 (Avatar: The Last Airbender (del Rey))1 review
Nickelodeon

Del Rey, 2010

remarkable
With Avatar setting film records around the world, "The Last Airbender" (M Night Shyamalan) is setting off literary waves too. Three distinct books are available based on the film. The Nickleodeon production from Del Rey captures the look and feel of the TV production and includes some really cool dialogue/narrative balloons that set this book apart from many others. The story does not ...

The Earth Kingdom Chronicles: The Tale of Zuko (Avatar, the Last Airbender: the Earth Kingdom Chronicles)3 reviews
Michael Teitelbaum

Simon Spotlight/Nickelodeon, 2008

Clear and concise: The way it should be
I bought all six books of The Earth Kingdom Chronicles for my family after watching the entire series on TV. Five stars for all books! While being an enjoyable book for children, I have - as an adult keenly interested in martial arts and Asian philosophy - found these books to be right on the mark with many concepts that are sometimes difficult to understand and I found it a sheer blessing to ...

The Earth Kingdom Chronicles: The Tale of Toph (Avatar: the Last Airbender)2 reviews
Michael Teitelbaum

Simon Spotlight/Nickelodeon, 2007

The Earth Kingdom Chronicles
An interesting series of little books. Each is written like a diary and covers most of the Avatar's adventures, thus far, from each character's point of view. Included in each book is a pair of 3-D glasses and a small color comic (3-D of course.) Children who enjoy the Avatar cartoon series will enjoy these books.

The Last Airbender: Prequel: Zuko's Story6 reviews
Dave Roman, Alison Wilgus

Del Rey, 2010

Excellent look back at Zuko before it all begins!
This 'manga', even though it isn't in the traditional manga form is quite enjoyable. The story takes us back to the days after Zuko has been scarred by his Father, and it a lot of ways, he[Zuko] suffers emotionally and mentally. It gives us a better insight on Iroh and Zuko's relationship - and it thrilled me that they used some of the dialogue from the "Airbender" series in some of the panels. ...
