Airbrushing Basics1 review
Jeff Wilson

Kalmbach Publishing Company, 2006

An excellent choice for a beginner in airbrushing
At eight chapters in nineteen pages, this is a very slim little volume. That turns out to be a virtue in this booklet intended for the absolute beginner in airbrushing. Having purchased but never actually used an airbrush, I had a number of concerns about proper handling and, especially, cleaning. This book systematically and with no wasted words addressed all my initial questions. The ...

Airbrushing (Artist's Library series #09)6 reviews
Peter West

Walter Foster, 1986

BEST! Basic Airbrush Book.
I've read seven airbrush books in the 4 and 5 star range. This was book number seven and by far the best book on simple airbrushing techniques. The frisket cutting and blending exercises are precise and inexpensive to reproduce. Getting into airbrushing is expensive and it is difficult to find classes or good books. This book will get you started on airbrush painting technique in an hour or two ...

T-Shirt Airbrushing: The Step-by-Step Guide and Showcase1 review
The Editorial Team staff

New Line Books, 2001

Okay but could have been better
The first thing that I noticed about this book is it had a lot of pictures and not alot of info on how to airbrush t-shirts. However I did find the book useful in creating new designs and to know what needed to be done and in what order. Over all it is a good book to get you exited about airbrushing on textiles but doesn't give you enough information on on to do it.

The Complete Manual of Airbrushing1 review
Peter Owen

Knopf, 1988

The source book on Airbrushing
I own quite a number of books on airbrushing, some very good, some average. This book is without a doubt THE definitive book about ALL aspects on airbrushing. It is an outstanding book in every respect. It covers more aspects of airbrushing than any other book I have seen, it is superbly produced in full colour and the clarity of text and photography is as good as it gets. Do I sound ...

This is the book you must have!
I cannot say enough about this book. If you are a nail technician, spend the money and purchase this. It is worth every cent. I am constantly referring to this book and it truly covers everything. It covers color theory in depth, procedures, techniques etc. Of course you have to practice, practice, practice, but I feel this book is a must have.

Advanced Airbrush Techniques - The Art of the Dot (Traditional and Innovative Uses of the Airbrush)
Robert R. Anderson

Van Nostrand Reinhold Co., 1985

The airbrush has finally been recognized as a legitimate creative tool in the art world, and some airbrush art is receiving as much attention as oils, watercolors, and other more traditional paintings do. But the uses of the airbrush are just beginning to be explored. Not only is it an effective tool in fine art and commercial illustration, but it can be used with exciting results in such diverse areas as sculpture, ceramics, photo retouching, ...
