Six Disciplines® Execution Revolution: Solving the One Business Problem That Makes Solving All Other Problems ...10 reviews
Gary Harpst

Six Disciplines Publishing, 2008

Planning and Execution
While the ultimate message put forth in this book is about executing your plans and how to go about that, it is very much based on what needs to be done first - and that is Planning, Goal-Setting. Without this foundation in place first, any actions in business will be haphazard, directionless and misguided. Six Principles Execution Revolution is an excellent business source that offers some ...

One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish (I Can Read It All by Myself)130 reviews
Dr. Seuss, Theodor Seuss Geisel

Random House Books for Young Readers, 1960

Something Fishy to Me!!!
Super Book, as are all Dr. Seuss books! Book was new and as described. Fast shipping...rec'd in 4 days. It would be nice though if Amazon didn't set the shipping rates so the sellers could use media mail for their books to make it cheaper for the purchaser! If they didn't charge the flat $3.99 rate, it would make purchasing more affordable and one could do it more often! I'll buy from this ...

Adult All-In-One Course: Lesson-Theory-Technic: Level 130 reviews
Willard A. Palmer, Morton Manus, ...

Alfred Publishing Company, 1994

Accompaniment CD is not flawed, in fact it can be very useful if used correctly. Read carefully
Some reviews here say the CD is flawed because the recordings are not solo piano demonstrations and can be confusing for the learner. I do not agree with those reviews. Here is why; On each piece, the background accompaniment instruments are heard on the left channel of the recording. The piano part is demonstrated on the right channel. On many sound systems, balance between the left and right ...

Oh, the Thinks You Can Think! (Beginner Books(R))19 reviews
Dr. Seuss

Random House Books for Young Readers, 1975

fine children's book with lots to be learned
Oh, the Thinks You Can Think! Is a charming book by the immortal Dr. Seuss who wrote many fine children's books in his time. Oh, the Thinks You Can Think! is no exception. This book encourages children to imagine and eventually explore the world without fear. The book has excellent illustrations that amuse children--and adults; and the rhyming text always impresses me. The book starts by ...

Access 2003 All-in-One Desk Reference for Dummies16 reviews
Alan Simpson, Margaret Levine Young, ...

For Dummies, 2003

Worth Getting
I found myself suddenly needing to use Access for analysis that was way too big to do in Excel (comparing data sets from 3 sources with ~800K records each). I really knew nothing about Access. Between this book and the internet I have become very proficient in Access. I practically slept with the book for a week. I now find I don't need it and have lent it to a co-worker.

Great Book!
It wasn't good for review, but really good because it has two OFFCIAL math IIC tests. I used Barron's for review and used both of these practice tests (answers and explanations in the back) to score a 790 on the real exam.

I've used word and excel extensively since 1995 in the work place. I got this book for my 42 year old daughter who is just beginning to come around to PC's. I know how much i hate scrolling or searching thru MS's Helps. Well, the book arrived today. I was IMPRESSED. I'm going to order a copy for myself. Thank you Peter Weverka. THIS IS AN IMPRESSIVE BOOK.

Michael Meyers

McGraw-Hill Osborne Media, 2006

Great Study Guide
I have been in IT for 10 years. We in the IT world tend to read into test questions too much. This book put everything into perspective regarding the level of answer that is required to do well on the test. This book has definitely assisted me to understand the new CompTIA A+ test, which helped me to pass with flying colors the Essentials and IT Technician tests. Thanks to this book I am now A+ ...

All-in-One Care Planning Resource: Medical-Surgical, Pediatric, Maternity, and Psychiatric Nursing Care Plans ...15 reviews
Pamela L. Swearingen

Mosby, 2007

Highly Recommended!
My instructor suggested I get All-in-One because it will serve me through my rotations (Med-Surg, Peds, OB and Psych.) I love this book! It is so much better than the one we were required to buy. It is the only care plan book I've seen that gives measurable outcomes, which are so helpful in practice, not just in writing the plans. The rationales are detailed and easy to understand, and I ...

The Ultimate Weight Solution: The 7 Keys to Weight Loss Freedom272 reviews
Phil McGraw

Free Press, 2003

Excellent Weight Loss Guide
A visit to a doctor just over two months ago revealed that I was obese, with a high body fat percentage and low muscle mass level. It was made clear to me that unless I reduced my weight from 80 kg (176 lbs) to at least 70 kg (154 lbs), I was at high risk of developing diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure or stroke. I had to reduce my weight and hence I needed a good book to guide me ...

Great recommendation for any teacher
Differentiated Instructional Strategies: One Size Doesn't Fit All by Gayle Gregory, and Carolyn Chapman is great tool to compliment any teacher's personal resource library. Straight from a Dummie's Mouth
As someone new to IT ( not a complete novice, I do know how to use a mouse/keyboard and surf the web, etc. ), this book is great especially when compared with the other A+ books one can find out there. For the price it's a steal, I highly recommend it.

Photoshop CS3 All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech))5 reviews

A usable practical guide for serious readers.
If you are like me -- an intelligent (I hope) experienced computer person who has never used Photoshop but wants to learn how to do useful work (not just play around) -- this book is for you. For example, you can actually look in the index and find what you are looking for.

CS3 for Dummies: A Critical Review
I've finally plunked down a few bills and bought the suite. The CS3 is phenomenal, by the way. My only problem is, is that with the exception of some older versions of Photoshop and a couple of projects with Illustrator, this suite is essentially a whole new program. After reading the reviews below, I decided to borrow this book from the library just to be sure it was worth the effort to ...
