The Attributes of God

Know who God is.
Pink gives an in depth look at who the Bible says God is. It is extremely Biblically based, with every page having numerous scripture references. It is important to know who the God of the Bible is. Most who profess belief in the God of the Bible think they know who that God is. Yet, if the god we have in our thoughts does not match the God as recorded in the Bible we are in error.

Thorough outlook on modern life
Realistically, this book thoroughly delves into the "deeper things" concerning scripture. Let he who "has an ear to hear" understand, and the less intellectual stand aside.
Gleanings in Exodus

Produced in his pre-mil days, but still very useful, as Pink always is. The beginning of a nation arrests world attention; the bondage of a people evokes the full range of human feeling; the effective work of a human deliverer for one or a million raises human emotions to an exceedingly high pitch. In Exodus we have the beginning of a nation, Israel; we have the enslavement of a people, the Israelites; we have the arrival of a deliverer named ...
Exposition of the Gospel of John: Three Volumes Complete and Unabridged in One
Arthur W. Pink
Zondervan
, 2006
This classic exposition of John?s gospel by pastor and educator Arthur Pink gives us intimate glimpses of Jesus as the ?Word made flesh.? Beginning with an overview of the entire book of John in the first, introductory chapter, Pink takes us section by section through the fourth and most sublime of the gospels. It is a gospel different in both character and intent from the others in its theme of how, in the person of Jesus, the eternal God ...

This is the best theological book I've ever read
If you want to read one book on theology this is THE book. This is clearly written so that all may understand it and is presented in a very straight-forward, logical manner. This is the book that helped push me over the edge on particular atonement. Mr. Pink uses a ton of scripture verses to defend all his positions. As a Christian, it is the word of God that is sharper than a two-edged sword ...

A very insightful and meaty commentary of Genesis.
Pink's insight into the Scriptures is staggering. He does a masterful job of linking the major themes of the Old Testament to the New Testament. He also brings out some fascinating types and shadows that provide great insight as to the nature of Jesus. I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to go deeper into the Word.

Aspects never thought of...
Pink, master of the Old Testament and lover of the NT, takes each of the 7 sayings and explores seven aspects of each of the sayings. Wonderfully enlightening as he always is with his timeless commentaries. Use this as a devotional leading up to Resurrection Sunday...you will experience the Cross in ways you never imagined. All of Pink's works and thoughts are Scriptually based.

Pretty Decent, not Technical, Good Intro for Premill/Pretrib
If you've ever wondered about eschatology, MacArthur's got a very simple book here. Written on the level of those who've never dealt with anything dealing with the end times, he gives a very sobering and balanced view (representing the premillennial, pretribulational rapture). He decries 'newspaper theology' and goes to great lengths to steer believers away from the kooks and loonies like Jack ...

Simple ... the best
This exposition is Arthur Pink at his best. There is no such thing as a bad commentary by Pink. I own 90% of his published writings and in my opinion this is his best work. The Hebrew writer (which Pink makes the best argument I've heard for Paul's authorship) intended for this epistle to show the physical things of the Old Testament as a shadow of the spiritual things in the New Testament. Pink ...

Intensely Practical
When someone becomes a disciple of Christ their most important concern in life becomes,"how may I please and honour the Lord who has saved me?" How can someone assess their spiritual progress and what means has God ordained for their spiritual maturation? As in all of his books,A.W.Pink has many keen insights on this Biblical subject. For example,on p.116,he writes perceptively,"It is strange ...

Great Book
I was recently introduced to A.W. Pink. Started with the book Sovereignty of God. The Beatitudes and the Lords Prayer is a great read and A.W. Pink has some great insights that he shares. I also highly recommend Sovereignty of God.

A Highly Necessary and Useful Work
I highly recommend Pink's fine study of the Pauline prayers. In a day when prayer is badly misunderstood and abused, this fine study of the apostolic example of prayer in Paul's writings provides a much needed balance. You will truly be blessed as you consider the fact that the Apostle did not pray for worldly blessings but true spiritual blessings that abide for eternity.

Good for beginners
When I started looking for commentaries, I started with Calvin's, but found him too dry. Pink's book is both compelling, easy to follow, and, most importantly, asks the student questions on the Gospel before attempting to answer them in the book. Pink teaches you how to ask the right questions more than spoon-feeding you the right answers.
