Beautiful book for little girls
I bought it as a gift for my 5 year old cousin, not knowing much about it and was immediately impressed with the beautiful illustrations. It may be a little too old for her but I know she'll grow into it. It has a sweet message, too: a little girl asks her dad what makes people happy, then she goes to sleep and dreams that she and her unicorn fly around and ask all sorts of fairy tale creatures ...

Good for a childs memory
In this book while Corduroy is searching for his library books to return to the library, your child will be able to help him find his books. This lift flaps are fun and not so big that they will tear easily. I have loved Corduroy since I was a kid and now I am enjoying his educational adventure to the library with my 6 year old.

Great book for preschoolers
This book is one of the best I've found to teach my 2-year old about the traditions of Halloween. The book is beautifully illustrated with autumn scenes of fallen leaves, pumpkin patches, and not-too-scary trick-or-treaters. I was able to reinforce many familiar objects (pumpkins, apples, and scarecrows) with my toddler while introducing her to new ones (Indian corn, skeletons, and witches) ...

Wonderful adaptation of an old song for the P.C. crowd.
This book is a wonderful story for the preschool crowd. It is sung to the old Ten Little Indians, but is a little more multicultural. It shows(with very cute illustrations) the Pilgrim & Wampanoag Indian children ina positive yet accurate light, and also depicts the different foods that were eaten at the first thanksgiving.

Good book for toddlers
My almost two-year-old son loves this book so much that on occasion I have hidden it so I could get a break. The illustrations are cute and very relevant. The story has only a few words per page so it is appropriate for young readers. My only complaint is that the flaps are not as sturdy as alot of other flap books. Still, we have definitely gotten our money's worth out of Corduroy's Christmas.

This was the perfect book for my nephew - he loves Corduroy and Biscuit. We all went to Cancun and this was a great way for him (3 years old) to remember our trip.

We LOVE this book!
My two sons (3 and 1) love this book! The pictures are great, and my older son knows the story by heart and reads it to us. It is hilarious to see him say "Munch, Munch, Munch, BAAAAAAAAAA" as he imitates the sheep. The sheep are so cute and we giggle at the last page where the sheep are in the tree. I'm not sure they get the message of the story fully, but we enjoy the book and pictures ...

Corduroy discover the moon
This is the second book I bought for my daughter as she sees Corduroy on tivo and she asked me for the books. It's a nice story about a night time escape of Cordoroy in order to find a gift for Lisa's birthday. It's perfect before going to sleep as it's short but has a good plot. It's one of the books I read and reread to my daughter as she always asks me. She likes very much the idea of the ...

A message for all humans
I know this book is for kids, but I received it as a grownup's gift and was in tears before I got to the third page. The message this book imparts gives a gentle reminder that we all bring something to the world and our very existence is something to be treasured. It also reminds the reader that we have the potential to bring positive action to our world and the people in it. These are valuable ...

This was a hit
My 3yr old loved this book. We had several new books on dinosaurs to choose from, and this is one he wanted to read over again. It's simple content brought dinosaur comparisons into his every day life: sandbox, basketball, cars, schoolbus, hide and seek and more...

Sweet, enjoyable, adorable!
This book, with cheerful illustrations, is delightful! Perfect for teaching your little one about what it means to be thankful! This is one of those books I not only enjoy reading, but it has a lasting value as it teaches an important lesson in thankfulness. Wonderful book for little ones & you'll enjoy it too.

Very entertaining book
This book is so vibrant and colorful, its hard to imagine any toddler not loving it. There's not much to the story, no rhymes, no moral - just lots of beautifully drawn images of things kids love. The one drawback is very soft pages and soft flaps that can tear easilty in rough hands.

He doesn't get sick of it! He loves pointing out all the different types of trucks, finding the boss, and talking about the road builders going to build their next road.

I have as much fun with it as my daughter!
This book is great, it really brings life to the fairy tales like Snow White and even Peter Pan with big colorful maps of everything you read about in the stories. We have a lot of fun going over the map, and I really think for a youngster 4-7 or so it is perfect for their age and imagination. It really puts a picture to the story, and makes the fairy tales all the more real. The maps are ...

Jake Baked the Cake
What a joy of a book. The illustrations are so soft and beautiful and really help to tell the story, as they should. The story is about a town getting ready for a wedding. There's just a line or two on each page, and they rhyme, periodically reverting to, "while Jake baked the cake". Both boys and girls 7 and under should enjoy this. My five year boy included.

Don Freeman's Best Work Yet!
Kids (and adults) will be in love with this pop-up book. I love children's books and writing children's literature and this is one of my new favorites. Beautifully done!
