For those looking for vampires without the urban twists and turns, here is the book for you. It is filled with lots of fantasy and is rated with authors like Jim Butcher and Naomi Novik. Great read, but definitely start with number one...Dhampir.

Great series. I read all 6 in less then that many months. Book four was a little week but 1-3, 5 and 6 where off the chain. I only wish the Hendee's would get the next set going however, I am sure they will be worth waiting for.

Perfect title
This book is great. The title fits it so perfectly! I reccomend this to anyone who likes your typical fantasy novels, for not only does it deal with vampires, but all sorts of fantasy stuff.

Fun!
I'm not really much for vampire stories normally, but this is a well written set of books. the characters are compelling even the evil ones. The stories have a lot of action, but can get a little moody as is common in vampire and vampire hunter novels. Probably not for someone trying to break into the fantasy or vampire genre.
