If you don't mind lying to your children about the history of Halloween, then this book is fine. Cute pictures, lots of color, large font for beginning readers. However, if you prefer your children get accurate history then avoid this book. There is no mention of its true Pagan beginnings but it does state "Halloween began as a Christian holiday." Oh really?
