Bittersweet Ending
This is the fourth and final book in the Royal Four series and is Stanton, the Falcon's story. New to Celeste Bradley
I am new to Celeste Bradley's Liars Series. I really enjoyed this book. I especially love the humor in her writing and the very strong female lead. I will be buying more of this series.

Duke Most Wanted
Sophie Blake never really joined the quest to inherit her grandfather's fortune. As her cousin, Dierdre seems to be the winner, the bookish and reticent Sophie is able to relax and enjoy her translations and her time with the very handsome Graham. When Graham unexpectedly inherits his father's title and an estate consumed with debt, he knows he must marry a rich bride. Although Sophie ...

very intense
The outdated writing style takes a little getting used to, but once you do, it's good. It's incredible to me how the author, with her unusually limited experience of the outside world, who probably never had a boyfriend or lover in her life and lived a secluded life in a remote part of Yorkshire with her sisters and died a virgin, could have created such an incredibly realistic and well-drawn ...

Disturbing but Courageous
It is never pleasant to read some disturbing experiences that these young lady's have gone through. I kept questioning myself on why I was reading what I was. My wife, Mother in Law & sister in law all read this book & found it disturbing. The only reason I could find as to why I wanted to read such a book, was in the hope that the 3 lady's were now back together & leading 'normal' lives. ...

A great way to show others how they can be a good friend!
I first bought this for my son who has Autism. Then I decided to loan it out to all his teachers so that they could read it to his classmates. I think it is a great book for children to read who have friends on the Autism Spectrum. I haven't heard the results of my sons teacher reading the book, but I am sure it will be helpful. It is a great book.

enjoyable
I was not disappointed with this second in a series. Not sure why some of the reviews are so brutal, bad day perhaps? I found it to be a light, fast read.

Great
There wasn't a dull moment anywhere in this book! I loved the characters, especially young Robbie. James was a wonderful man who didn't deserve all the heartache he went through, but one thing Ms Bradley needs to work on - I've read two of her books now, and James and Dane from "Surrender to a Wicked Spy" weren't exactly top notch spies, were they? The heroines were right under their noses and ...

A great day read !
The Pretender by Celeste Bradley was a fantastic suspense romance historical novel. Agatha moves to London to her find her older brother but to have the freedom she needs to be married so she makes up a husband. The fake husband works wonderfully until someone wants to meet Mr. Applequist. Simon is a member of Liar's Club who work for the Crown. Simon is looking for James (AKA Agatha's ...

Everything about the Bard in a nutshell!
Everything you need to know about Shakespeare, his life and times is put forth in this first-rate juvenile biography. Since little is known about Will Shakespeare, why waste time reading a lot of speculation? It is a marvel how Celeste Davidson Mannis creates many interesting asides in so short a space, including words and phrases that were coined by the Bard, an explanation of blank verse, what ...

Simple, straightforward story about one of the saints among us
This book is quite unlike any other that I have read on crime or gangs, both in style and in substance. The style is very simple. Fremon makes no attempt to be objective. She makes no effort to put the story into any larger context. She does not come across like a professional writer of any kind. Her ego is absent from the work. Instead, she tells a story, a simple, moving story. The ...

Bradley fans will love this one! Read the Liar's Club first though....
(NOTE: I would recommend reading Celeste Bradley's Liar's Club books before this one b/c some of the supporting characters play an important role in this one, and the hero in this one plays important supporting roles in those as well.) Ok, so Celeste Bradley novels aren't for everyone (I realized this when I notice only one or 2 of her books are stocked in B&N or not at all.) but I would ...

Couldn't put down
I loved this book. Great lite reading and takes your mind to other places and times. I have read both the Pretender and now the Impostor and if I had lived in England during those times I would have been terrified of Lord Liverpool's political control in England. To think that if he thought you were dangerous, you just disappeared is extrememly scary and mind boggling.

Bordering on Erotic at Times
This is the second book in the Royal Four Series and is the story of the Lion. Lord Dane Calwell is very serious about his duty to the crown...his father was a traitor who fell in love with a French spy and betrayed secrets out of that love. Dane knows he has to marry he has a duty to produce an heir and chooses Olivia because she seems to be of sturdy stock, he will never be able to love ...

More Royal Four Magic
I completely ate up this book in about two days! Anyway, The plotline stayed true to the rest of the books in the series. The leading female role went to a hard-headed, strong young woman and the male role was for a "man among boys" kind of guy. Marcus previously had a role as Dane's apprentice for the Lion in the second book of the series and this novel is all about his quest for power and ...

Great guide, packed with lots of info!
I purchased this guide and the DK Eyewitness Malaysia/Singapore guide about a month before I went on my trip to KL. I just returned last night after spending a week there. Let me just say that the LP guide is awesome! It is packed full of all the info you could possibly want to know and it also includes maps of the different areas of KL as well as transit maps. It describes in detail the ...
