Crystal Springs Books, 2002

Get ready to laugh !
This book is short enough to read through quickly (especially being a teacher its hard to find a little free time to do some reading besides textbooks and students work :).) I read it to my first graders and they loved it. They enjoyed seeing a fun side of being a teacher. They found this book to be funny and in their words "two thumbs up". I can relate to some of the stories such as asking ...

The More Ways You Teach the More Students You Reach: 86 Strategies for Differentiating Instruction1 review
Char Forsten, Gretchen Goodman, ...

Crystal Springs Books, 2006

Good Ideas
I liked the variety of ideas presented in the book. I put sticky notes in many places to refer back to. It was interesting to think about differentiation using the concept of various learning modalities. I think I literally will "Reach" more students using some of these ideas.

Math Teacher grades 1-12
I found this book to be very useful and to live up to its claims. The company that first brought Singapore Math to the U.S. sells this book on its math teacher resource website page. Their recommendation reads: "This book can be used by teachers who want to learn and teach to their students a step-by-step process that facilitates using model-drawing to solve simple word problems.
