I wish I'd bought this book first...
The explanations in this book leave very little to the imagination. In other words they are clear & concise & the author makes no assumptions about previous knowledge. I had read Elizabeth Castro's "XHTML & CSS" then Andy Budd's "CSS Mastery" & although they both gave me a good understanding of what can be done they failed to truly explain how to use markup & styling like this guy does. Great Coding Book
I've spent a lot of time looking for a resource I could use to teach myself php. The biggest problem I've ran into is the book/website either being 1) over my head, or 2) unbearable to read. Luckily this item was neither of the above. Though I haven't made it though the entire book yet I have found this to be -extremely- helpful and well written. I don't come from a coding background at all ...
