Wonderful Story Concpet, Not Your Average Vampire Novel
This book begins with a wonderful concept. To put it in my own words what would happen if you merged Tyler Durden (Fight Club) with Blade (you know the vampire slayer). Well you would get Xanatos, the not quite human, not quite vampire/demon, and quite sane protagonist. Xanatos has merged with Legion a demon. How the merge happened is left a mystery till about an 8th of the way into the book ...

Learn how to be part of the changes in math education
To most mathematicians, changes in the mathematics core is synonymous with advances in computer technology. Without question, the growing power of computers and the increased sophistication of software is driving many of the changes in math curricula across the world. However, that is not the only force pushing mathematicians into changing the fare they offer up to their students. To their ...

Fascinating West Point History
This is the best book I've read about the history of West Point. The biographies of the 200 people are truly amazing. They did so much for the US over the past two centuries, giving out knowledge and contributing to prosperity. I also enjoyed the histories of the various organizations, especially the Corps of Engineers. Arney has a way to put these in perspective and show how things connect. ...

Best Kept Secret in NYS
The author brings his experiences of growing up on Lake Ontario & of spending 22 years at West Point to this fast-moving epic of the founding of a beautiful upstate NY area. He traces the growth from the late 1700's to the end of the 19th century in a manner similiar to James Mitchner's "The Source." It is very difficult to put this book down as one learns more and more about what is quite ...

Waste of money
I had to get this book for my college course and I can say it really is quite bad. There doesn't seem to be enough useful examples and it really is quite hard to learn much from this book. There are also a lot of errors in this book. Many questions are worded poorly too.
