This was a fine take on the Hulk legend with a nice new look for the green giant.

Wow!
This is one of the bibles of value investing. I wouldn't suggest it for a novice investor, though. It's geared more to the experienced investor. Buy it after reading Graham's other book, Intelligent Investor, which is much more reader friendly.

Good "bible" for beginners and those who wish to solve most common problems easily
This book is definitly not intended for professionals, and definition of "bible" is questionable when book deals with big things such as Debian. Of course this book can't solve every possible problem or show you everything. In order to achieve that, it should have few thousands pages :) However, it will serve you well if you wish a complete guidance in installing debian on common pc platforms and ...

Best investing book I've ever read
Yes, this is the best investing book I've ever read, but I never read the 2nd or 3rd editions so maybe they are better? I do know that the 5th edition is absolutely horrible, it wasn't written by Graham and has nothing to do with this book, and you won't learn anything about investing from reading it. You do need a strong background in accounting to understand this book. There are some archaic ...

This book is a must-read for every investor; that said, it's a very difficult read. This edition contains essays that make the timeless lessons clearer for today's investors. With Mr. Market currently having a fit, this book is as important as ever.

another great book by Siegmund
David Siegmund is a famous probabilist who is both a great lecturer and writer. I personally audited his advanced probability course at Stanford. He coauthored a book on optimal stopping with Herb Robbins and has written other fine books on sequential analysis and repeated significance testing. In recent years he as well as Brad Efron and other Stanford and Berkeley statistics professors has ...

Apology for previous review
I listened to the cd in it's entirety today and I realize that I was wrong in my previous review. Please dismiss it if possible. This was a very informative and well made cd. My six year old who loves science enjoyed it, and so did my husband and I.

Underestimated show...
I feel that "The Yellow Boat" is a much underestimated show. Although the show is set up in such a way as would be enjoyable by kids, the theme of this show could only be understood by a mature reader/audience member. I performed this show my senior year in high school as the role of the father, and I must say that this tale struck me as few others have. When we first read through the script I ...

Forging ahead, with both heart and head engaged
What I love about these slender books is that they instantiate what they document: a rapidly iterative, get-the-thought-out approach to design that doesn't take itself too seriously, but never risks sloppiness for a moment. One volume details the methodology Soo-In and David call "flash research," which they define as an architectural research project with a budget under $1000 and a ninety-day ...

A little gem of a book, Indeed!
These well written essays provide vivid glimpses of varying Presidential personalities, with thoughtful discussion of individual strengths and weaknesses. To me, especially in an election year where character is a major issue, it was an enthralling read, with highlights of qualities such as "Reagan's voice, which was a large part of Reagan's power..." or the speaking style of TR, with plosive ...

Bloom's Taxonomy & Anderson's Revision
Until the 1950's the educational system within the United States had no consensus or continuity in its approach to learning. "Knowledge" by interpretation meant different things to different people and professional educators had no basis by which to tie together the cornucopia of theories. By definition, taxonomy is in its widest sense, the classification of any group of likened things to ...

well written, clearly illustrated
This book gives an excellent overview of the problems and solutions to level-of-detail rendering. Few books in the computer graphics field are this well written. A few things to note: - Though there's plenty of material on simplification of polygonal meshes, there doesn't seem to be much on volume (tetrahedral) simplification. My impression is that volume simplification is kind of hairy, though, ...

Great SAT Prep Book
This was an extremely helpful study aid. The great dynamic characters helped me get through each chapter and kept me laughing. I have found no other test prep book this enjoyable to work with. This helped me with not only the SAT but test taking in general. Thanks for the help David!
