Needs a better index
Not very user friendly. The best part about it is the RSI drugs section. The index is simply alphabetical search. There is no category search. For the money it is not very useable. Epocrates free program is better. Overall I think it is a waste of $30. A better index and expanded treatments would make it more valuable.

ok but not stellar
Overall an ok book but not stellar. Seems a bit disorganized. Not alot of info that is not in rosen's. some things seem a little out of place.. like a chapter on pneumonia that is quite detailed. Would have liked a little more detail regarding nuances of the physical exam and diagnoses. I would have expected to get a little more info with more images since this was only about abdominal pain.... ...

This book is a must. Its useful for any person who practice in the ER as well the outpatient. Is very good for general reference. The book give a review of the problem with a management oriented to the adequate level of care. Cover every topics (trauma, pediatric, adult, ob/gyn, surgery). Is easy to read and well explain.

I purchased this for a CEN review. I have been an ED nurse for nine years and know alot but you never remember everything. This is a quick and simple resource for any ED nurse.

Excellent for ConCert in EM
I used this review book to study for my recert exam (ConCert) on Nov 3'07. I went back to the book immediately after the exam and found ~95% or more of the answers to the questions that were on the exam. If you are worried about detail - use tintinalli (and take a year to prepare!)This review book does not get into great detail, but neither did the exam! Most info is upto date (except recommend ...
