This book is just breath-taking! A friend of mine bought a copy for me and I ended up spending my entire Saturday reading this book. I just couldn't put the book down. This story line is twisting and full of excitements. If you're a fan of fantasy fictions, this book is a MUST READ.

interesting alternative to golub/van loan
This book is not that famous as the golub/van loan bible but it is more than competitive. Especially for undergraduate or even graduate students who want to become familiar with computational aspects of linear algebra the bible might be to compact; watkins gives one more help to understand the main ideas.
