This first novel by Dianne Elliott captured and held my interest as the life of the main character, Katie O'Malley, unfolds in episodes filled with a good mix of compassion, love, and complex situations. I particularly enjoyed descriptions of the North Carolina coastal area and will definitely read future offerings by this talented lady.
