Hercules....a Disney movie
In my opinion, this book (written basically for children to read) has the magic enough to capture an adult's mind. I'm very fond of the thought that the Disney Company, makes it's best effort to get a child into the deep world of greek and roman mythology throughout this book (originally a movie) with the usual content of love, comedy, drama and a happy ending, all mixed in a magical, powerful, ...

The death of Buffy
This volume contains two stories: "The death of Buffy" and "Withdrawal". - "The death of Buffy" is a bittersweet story of what happened after the season 5 finale "The gift", about how the Scooby gang dealt (or at first didn't deal) with the death of Buffy. I could especially feel Dawn's pain. It's a wonderful fill-in the blanks story between "The gift" (5.22) and "Bargaining" (6.01 & 6.02). We ...

Contains the 3 issues that are a crossover with X-Men v.2, #197-200
"Cable and Deadpool" is one of my favorite comics -- action, laughs, recap pages that break the "fourth wall," and interesting characters! The cover is from issue #36, where Deadpool -- with manacles on his wrists AND ankles -- fights Taskmaster. Then the Rhino gets revenge for the time Deadpool made him tiny and used him for a keychain. Enjoy the Three Strikes Bar, where [loser] supervillians ...

One of the most dramatic stories in X-Men history
Fatal Attractions collects X-Factor #92, X-Force #25, Uncanny X-Men #304, X-Men #25, Wolverine #75, and Excalibur #71. When Magneto returns to his Acolytes and becomes more of a threat to humanity than ever before, all of the X-teams become engaged in battle in this then shocking cross over; the effects of which were felt in the X-books for almost a decade. Many memorable moments are to be ...

Witty As Ever
This book was amazing; an excellent combination of sarcasm, action, suspense, and drama. The storyline can be a bit confusing if you haven't already read the first book, "If Looks Could Kill", so I recommend reading that first. The artwork is superb, bringing the plot and dialogue to life. Deadpool is his usual sarcastic-insane-doesn't-know-when-to-shut-up mercenary self while Cable provides a ...

This novel does an excellent job finishing up the story. It gives all of the finishing details needed to find out how it all ends.

Only because I own it...
It's a shame to see it being sold for so little. I owned this since '93, stored away and forgotten, in hopes to see it increase in value. *Sigh* Maybe an Ebay auction is in order. Now, as far as the comic is concerned: Insightful, with talks of x-factor and what happened to that huge space station, Greymalkin. They left out conversation about his 'twin' brother Stryfe. But, nice artwork and ...

Nice story
The original Thunderbolts together again at last! It seems that the thunderbolts have finally gotten the respect they deserve, the people have finally decided to forgive them and Baron Zemo has come up with a plan to use that trust for his own benfit. Captain America however isn't buying it that Zemo has become a good guy and sets a trap for Zemo and his gang. This is a very interesting read, I ...

Viva Las Buffy Continues (and a Dawn Short)
Two stories in this volume. The first is a fun little story about Buffy's sister Dawn. Buffy is the target of a magician but Dawn is accidentally given the "evil" device. A fun addition to the "evil Teddy bear" genre. The main story picks up right after the events of Viva Las Buffy. Buffy has returned home to discover that her sister has read her diary. The results are that Buffy winds up in ...

They're Back
Deadpool and Cable star together (ironically) in this collection of the comic series cable and Deadpool. I, being a MAJOR fan of Deadpool, couldn't resist the temptation to pool out the money to buy this book, and I wasn't disappointed. From panel to panel, through all the witty banter and sarcastic remarks and one-liners, I was engrossed. Deadpool was brought back with great precision and Cable ...

I was blown away
I haven't read too many X-Men crossovers, and from what I've heard, most of them aren't very good. But "X-Men: X-Cutioner's Song" was by far my favorite crossover that I have read, the plot was intricate and emotianally gripping, I read the whole thing in one sitting, and I can't wait to read it again. The art for this book is done by a few different people with extraordinary talents, just ...

Price, storyline, and illustrations are all perfect!!!
The price is twenty bucks and you get the following. First appearance of Deadpool, TWO full four comic first stories of Deadpool, and the official Deadpool #1. This book isn't missing anything, and would be a great collection for diehard fans. I love this book because I couldn't track down the first stories. They are a perfect representations of how you want a smart mouthed assasin to be. I ...

Age of Apocalypse
The complete Age of Apocalypse book 3 collects the real meat of the story. Magneto and his X-Men have all gone their separate ways and now we begin to see each of their individual stories, Nightcrawler's journey to the savage land, Gambit's to the Shi'ar galaxy, Rogue and the Astonishing X-Men head to stop the cullings, ect. We start to get some of the background of some of the new characters ...

The Book(s) That Started it All
Like the title says, this is the book (or collection thereof) that started the best (IMHO) comic book series ever. This shows how the GenX kids got together, and it depicts their first adventure together, sadly however, there is one who will not stay with them for very long. A MUST READ for any comic book fan!

Excellent Prequel
I wasn't entirely sure I would like this, as it doesn't have any of the regular cast besides Buffy herself, but I was suprised to find that I really enjoyed it. The writers did a great job and the art is fantastic. Pike is pretty cool (it was him I was afraid I wouldn't be able to like), and this gives us more background for Buffy, which is always good (at least for me). I'd definitely reccomend ...

My favorite comic book anti-hero gets his due.
All hail Marvel Comic's most underappreciated and brilliant creation, The Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool. A byproduct of Weapon X, Wade Wilson was saved from a cancerous demise when he was successfully granted a healing factor derived from Wolverine. But the procedure left him physically deformed and made a mercenary with already outrageous personality insane to boot. Always in a mood for black ...

X-tremely Brilliant
I initially got into X-MEN by watching the TV series. This inspired me to read more and more X-Comics and I got to say, this has been one of the very best! This story occurs in a timeline where Professor X is no more and America is being ruled by the evil mutant Apocalypse. Humans are being destroyed in countless thousands by his ruthless infinites and there isn't a living soul to stop ...
