Great book typical of the "Idiot's guide to..." series. Gives me just a taste of each religion listed. Great book for those who want to know just the "nitty-gritty" and do not need to know the deeper issues of the religions. Very useful for a quick study.

Good reference book
It does not go overly in depth with each religion nor does it present many alternative views on each religion however it does what it is supposed to do. This is a beginner's book to understanding some basic concepts within some of the Major world religions. Rituals and customs are briefly explained as well as core beliefs are outlined.
