Vector Mechanics for Engineers: Statics w/CD-ROM6 reviews
Ferdinand P. Beer, Jr., E. Russell Johnston, ...

McGraw-Hill Science/Engineering/Math, 2006

Superb
This book is great for self learning!, most of the theorems are explained in a very good way (a little too good and normally a little to hard to understand the first time) the examples are clear and the exercises are neither easy nor difficult (well some of them are difficult, but not all of them). I already had 2 teachers that told me they learned from this book... it's true that almost all the ...

?
It amazes me how someone could not find this text incredibly useful? It provides elaborate in-chapter examples, numerous practice examples, and a description on how to attack a given problem at the end of the chapter. I am a Senior and I can honestly say that this is the best text I have used.....

Vector Mechanics for Engineers: Statics and Dynamics19 reviews

McGraw-Hill Book Company, 1962

Really Good! Slow Pace
This book has helped me understand the mechanics in physics. It has a slow pace, which helps you understand each subject thoroughly. For example, in my physics book, we cover momentum in like 10 pages, but in this book, momentum is covered in like 50 pages. There are many problems within each section to help you understand the subject and they also give example problems to help you solve these ...

Vector Mechanics for Engineers: Statics, 7th Edition11 reviews
Ferdinand P. Beer, E. Russell Johnston Jr., ...

McGraw-Hill Science/Engineering/Math, 2003

Very clear and well illustrated
Maybe, I just pick up these concepts easily. I found this book very useful and extremely easy to understand. The sample problems are detailed and very easy follow. The "Solving Problems on Your Own" at the end of the each section provides an excellent review and will be a terrific reference. It is one of the best textbooks I have read. I can only think of a couple things that would have made ...

No complaints here!
I bought this textbook so I wouldn't have to pay the University's terrible prices (more than twice the price actually). I received the book in the exact same condition advertised, very promptly, and for a much better price... I'm very pleased!
