You don't need it if you're going on a cruise (it's rather snooty about cruises, with that backpacker reverse snobbery)or if you're going to fly to one island and stay there. If you are going during Low season this book is horrible
I'm sorry, but the book says Greek Island Hopping...it does not say Greek Island Hopping during the High season only. I went to the islands in March and the book was unhelpful because all of the information provided was for the high season. It was difficult to use the ferry information because it was WRONG. The island descriptions were accurate, but it was hard to use this book as a planning ...
