Count Grog- Wrestling manager/promoter
Greg Oliver's The Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame: The Canadains is a informative look a the wrestling greats that have called Canada their home. My only complaint is I wish it was another 100 pages longer. The top Canadian Wrestlers of all time are given several pages each and the author goes in depth into their careers. Such stars as Whipper Billy Watson, Killer Kowalski, Mad Dog Vachon and Gene ...

Excellent Book - not really much more to be said.
I was really impressed with Oliver's other two books about the Tag Teams and Canadian wrestlers so I was pretty excited when I saw this title. And it did not disappoint. The bios are solid and I really liked the way that he split up the heel types and didn't try to mash it all into one big list. For any fan of wrestling, hardcore or casual, this is a must for the library.

A message of hope, a real inspiration!
Greg Mortensen has created a very special organization bringing education, clean drinking water, and other basic services to remote parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan. This book chronicles his amazing story, from his childhood in Tanzania, to the epic K2 attempt that accidentally landed him in Korphe, to the amazing work he did to get the schools going, staffed, etc. This is an incredibly ...

Benoit-Three days that tarnished a legacy
I have never been a Chris Benoit fan but over the years I grew to gain respect for him for his great wrestling abillity. It is a shame that his 10+ year legacy was tarnished by his last three days alive. This book puts Benoits life into perspective and takes us from his early wrestling days in Japan, to the night that changed the Wrestling industry as we know it. The book also features several ...

The Most well researched Wrestling History Book ever
Greg Oliver & Steve Johnson did an outstanding job in writing The Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame: The Tag Teams. No other wrestling history book ever has gone to the effort that these guys have. Ever tag team written about was either contacted an interviewed or if all the memebers were deceased at least a family member was tracked down and interviewed. Their rating system was well done and not ...

Excellent Learning Tool!
This book is by far the most informative that I have read in a very long time. Most other books on the subject of trading offer only so much. However, O.V. goes much further in that he gives actual methods by which one can enhance his trading techniques many fold. I recommend this book to any and all - beginners and experienced traders. I only wish I had come upon this book years ago!

Read, and read this
Let me begin with the requisite: This book is beautiful and inspiring. Beyond that, though, it is a case-study in development favoring a pragmatic, bottom-up approach as championed by William Easterly (author of "The White Man's Burden.") There have been so many well-written reviews of this book that I wish not to extol it any further, but rather address a couple concerns brought up in the ...
