Great book
There are so few of these, especially from an English original. Buy it for your kids to learn more Spanish.

Curious George and the Dumptruck5 reviews
H. A. Rey, Vipah Interactive, ...

Houghton Mifflin, 1999

A family favorite
My 3 year old loves Curious George books and all kinds of heavy equipment so combining the two means it's one of his favorite books, and just like George he is always curious especially about George and why he is doing what he is doing. In our house both my 3 year old and 17 month old would sooner read about Curious George than watch tv.

Curious George in the Snow4 reviews
H. A. Rey

Houghton Mifflin, 1998

My Whole Family Loves This Book
This story is delightful. We bought it because we were taking our 2.5 yr old along on a ski trip and wanted him to have a silly little story that related to the mountain and skiing (even though he's not on skis yet). Well, it is just that... and more. He's learned a lot, developed an interest in skiing (maybe next year) and always gets a good laugh out of this book! It's also fun that George ...

Curious George Goes to the Hospital Book & Cassette (Read Along Book & Cassette)19 reviews
H. A. Rey, Margret Rey

Houghton Mifflin, 1995

Monkey See...Monkey Do
How can you not LOVE Curious George? He brings back such wonderful memories of my youth and the youth of my son. I actually purchased this book for my son. I read it to him when I was going to be staying at the hospital for more than a month for my very first big surgery. It helped him to not be afraid and to not cry when I was there. I also bought him a curious George doll that he brought ...

Curious George Goes to an Ice Cream Shop (Curious George, No 23)5 reviews
H. A. Rey

Houghton Mifflin, 1989

Never boring
As usual the mischievous monkey, George, gets himself into lots of trouble at his visit to an ice cream shop. Also, as usual, everything ends well... This is a perfect bed-time reading for your baby. My children always ask for new stories about the monkey George. This one is only one of many others that we all know in our family. Although we can practically recite George's adventures one ...

Curious George Takes a Train (Curious George)4 reviews

Houghton Mifflin, 2002

A Cute Story & Illustrations for Children Ages 3 - 6
Curious George, Margret & H. A. Rey's loveable monkey (Technically he's a Chimpanzee but we won't quibble too much . . . .) has received a series of new stories but in the same structure and style of the original. In these stories, George is a good monkey who tries to be helpful but allows his curiosity to cause problems. In the end however, George saves the day and all is forgiven. In this ...

A Treasury of Curious George (Hebrew)16 reviews
H.A. Rey, Margaret Rey

Modan Publishing House, 2007

HUGE HIT and most economical
This is a delightful, space-saving collection of CG stories. It has held up very well, and my 2 year old son has learned so many words from it. He adores this book, and it's NOT over his head at all. I think for MOST children it's not appropriate until age 3 unless your child is extremely verbal. Why by 8 or 10 separate books when you can have them all together in one book. It's great for ...

Curious George Visits the Library (Curious George)6 reviews
Margret Rey, H. A. Rey

Walker Books Ltd, 2008

Fun with a book-loving monkey
"Curious George Visits the Library" is, as the title page notes, "Illustrated in the Style of H.A. Rey" by Martha Weston. In this tale, George--"a good little monkey and always very curious"--visits the public library with his friend, the man in the yellow hat. Chaos ensues as George frolics through the library, but it all ends happily. Curious George is an enduring cultural icon, and this book ...

Pretzel12 reviews
H. A. Rey, Margret Rey

Houghton Mifflin, 1997

Short Story About a Long Dog
I far preferred Pretzel to Curious George because I've always been partial to dogs, especially hounds. I actually knew a little black dachshund named Gretchen and several brown ones named Gretel, so I had to smile at jealous Greta who had a prejudice toward long dogs and rebuffed Pretzel until Pretzel bailed her out of a jam. Greta was also jealous of Pretzel's blue ribbon, which she won in a ...

The illustration are really good she likes to look at the pictures even when someone isnt reading it to her (she cant read yet) this is perfect if you want to read some fun and interesting stories for a baby. If you are looking for something for older kids you should probably just get the regular curious george books. These are made ...

Curious George and the Hot Air Balloon3 reviews

Houghton Mifflin, 1998

One of Katy's favorites
My 3 year old daughter Katy loves the Curious George books. She particularly like this one and wants to read it almost every night. As an aside, the book has taught Katy about the presidents on Mt. Rushmore and she wants to go to South Dakota to see them!

Jorge el Curioso y el Conejito11 reviews

Houghton Mifflin, 2002

Curious George without the naughtiness! Yippee!
I adore Curious George but had struggled with the idea of buying the books for my son because George is always so naughty but ends up being a hero in the end. That is not a great lesson for the pre-school set, I think! He NEVER gets in trouble. In fact, great accolades are usually the result of his failure to behave and follow instructions to stay home. The only bad review for this book is ...

Curious George Goes to the Beach6 reviews
H. A. Rey, Margaret Rey

Houghton Mifflin, 1999

Life's a Beach ...George!!
This book and Curious George himself takes me back to a gentler time. A time when I was young and a time when my son was young. He and I LOVE to read all about George's silly mishaps daily. This book was an automatic favorite because we live in Rhode Island and live at the beach in the summer. So he would always take this book and his george doll down in his bag. These stories are filled ...

The Complete Adventures of Curious George87 reviews
H. A. Rey

Wonderful Classic
It is so great to be able to read stories to your children that your parents read as children! This is such a timeless clasic. My 3 1/2 year old son loves it and we would recommend it to all parents!

Curious George's Dream5 reviews
H. A. Rey, Margret Rey

Houghton Mifflin, 1998

George Wishes He Were Taller--But Then Realizes He's Just the Right Size!
At some point, a child will confront the fact that he is too small or too short for *something*. This is evident at amusement parks, where there are height minimums required in order to ride. In fact, we were at a local amusement park several years ago, and my son was very disappointed that he wasn't tall enough to ride the bumper cards (but WAS tall enough to ride roller coasters...go ...
