Take a romp through Sherwood Forest
Holt has written an enthralling study of Robin Hood, of both the man (what little remains of him in the ballads) and the legend. He discusses the five earliest surviving ballads - "A Gest of Robyn Hode," "Robin Hoode his Death," "Robin Hood and the Monk," "Robin Hood and Guy of Gisborne," and "Robin Hood and the Potter" - and from them details all that can be inferred of the original Hood and ...

Good book
The crossword puzzles seemed a little off, but I can't complain since I passed the CNA exam immediately after reading this book and taking the practice exams provided on the CD. It was enjoyable reading and sometimes even funny. Perhaps that is why I was able to learn instead of sleep.

I enjoyed this book and it helped me pass the cna exam 560. I should of waited for the newer release 5.1, but it helped me pass the exam and that is great. The cd was excellent, the book was great, what more can one ask for. I passed using just one book and saved hundereds of dollars by not taking an extra online course. My review for this book is, "Just buy it."

The Last Word on Magna Carta (1215)
Many Magna Carta scholars, including A. E. Dick Howard and Ralph V. Turner, rate this book as THE definitive work on the historical background and events leading up to the Great Charter, as well as its immediate consequences. No serious student of Magna Carta (1215) can afford not to read this book, and to read it carefully.
