The Single First Source for Neuropathology
As a neurology resident, I find this book to be extraordinarily helpful. It is, as the title of this review suggests, the first text I consult for any neuropathology question. It is also an outstanding resource for concise summaries of the clinicopathological hallmarks of a wide variety of conditions. The book contains numerous high-quality photographs of gross anatomical pathology and ...

excellent atlas
If you're taking a histo course, this is a fabulous atlas. Everyone at my school buys it, it has clearly labelled photographs of slides as well as very neat diagrams explaining how certain things work. Includes electron micrographs of cells for which EM's are helpful. Very very good book, I highly recommend it, it helps alot.

"THE" Book for USMLE Path Review
This book is like BRS Pathology, but with gross and microscopic high resolution pictures (over 900 as per the authors), as well as other high-yield goodies. There are clinical examples and concise explanations without useless details and minutia, or as the authors put it, "...focusing on the core content that medical students need to know...highly illustrated course review...USMLE-type questions ...

The book is a good review of the tumors of the CNS. Illustrations are excellent, and the writting clear, although at times verbose. Current information on molecular techniques is incorporated

An excellent primer of pathology
If you agree that seeing is believing, then this book is for you. Microscopic images with accompanying texts illustrate important concepts and salient features of common diseases. The language is clear and facts are presented concisely. I particularly loved the part on general pathology : it contains one of the most beautifully written summaries of the recurring themes in pathology...i.e. cell ...
