A must for your medical bookshelf!
This is one of the most valuable pediatric resources ever written. While the title suggests that it is written for the prehospital community, the no nonsense approach to pedaitric emergencies has application for anyone caring for children, from EMT to MD. There is something here for everyone to learn. The book's organized approach begins by highlighting growth & developement and how ...

Great Pocket Mosby!
I have this and the large hardcover textbook. This pocket version is great and fits nicely into my coat pocket when I am in clinic. Although it's not as comprehensive as the big Mosby's, it's definitely handy.

The Best Pediatric Nursing Book
Forget the other reviews about this book. This book is excellent all around. It is simple (explains everything in laymans term), to the point (clear table and presentation), and it summarizes important contents in boxes. It gets me through nursing school with flying colors. As a matter of fact, I'm still using this book right now as a student FNP. Grammatical errors are not conceptual errors, ...

Had for a year, used it twice
I've owned this book for a year and honestly, I forget I have it. It was required for my maternal/newborn nursing course, so I own it. Used it for two case studies in the most basic way. Cited it twice, using about two sentences each time. I'm not going into peds or ob/gyn so, I can't speak for students who have more interest in this subject, but I have to say, this book is only about as ...

I found this book to be very useful. I am currently in nursing school and this book is a great tool to guide assessments. My professor said that this was even helpful when she was in Nurse Practitioner school.
