Robust start to (X)HTML/CSS
I rate this book with 5 stars for being a solid introduction to (X)HTML and CSS and for being clear, easy to follow, and colourful. I disagree with the previous reviewer BB, who said the book was not for beginners and rated it with one star. He mentions Jennifer N. Robbins uses vocabulary she hasn't defined before. Well, if he's talking about terms like web browser, web server, or link, I ...

question
I read a lot of reviews. I have still 1 edition of this book from 2001 year. And there was information how design stuff works for IE and Netscape. But IE is sucks and Netscape is also and in all reviews of this book i saw only mention of IE. Is there any information 'bout difference in how pages look in IE and Mozzila FireFox?

HTML and XHTML Pocket Reference (Pocket Reference (O'Reilly))
Una GRAN pequeña guía de referencia. A lo mejor se echan en falta algunas palabras reservadas pero por lo general es una maravilla poder consultar de forma rápida y ordenada la duda que buscas.

Learning Web Design: A Beginner's Guide to HTML
This is this first "How To" book I ever read cover to cover. It works. It is well written, and breaks concepts down without making you feel like a "dummy". It's perfect for a novice like me. So many things that were a mystery to me were explained. I now can do rollover buttons, animations, add music, etc. But most important is the Web design concepts this book drives home. It teaches ...

Must Have Pocket Reference
If you are designing web pages, you must have this book. That is all there is to it. This is a small compact reference book (hence the title) which lists the HTML tags in alphabetical order, shows if they are supported by the three major browsers (IE,NN,Opera) and if they are part of the w3c spec HTML 4.01. Information is given for the applicable attributes for each tag. Once you know it ...
