Good, with Limitations
Ordered this book because it was the first out on MS CRM. And while the book was helpful, it was typical "Dummies" material in that I think it lacked some things (e.g. Did not cover form customization, creating a letter/fax, etc.). So, it is a good primer to CRM, but I'm sure better material will be released. This is probably a good read for the average user, but for an admin or "trainer", ...

The book is excellent for E.M.G. practitionar but it is deficient in technique of difficult muscle examination as pelvic floor muscles.

This is still a great PM&R textbook by any standards. Naturally people would want to compare this to the other Great PM&R classic (Braddom's PM&R Text - 3rd edition). 2 distinct areas it falls short when compared to Braddom's: 1. The Aesthetic Appeal is grossly missing especially in this age of High Tech. Sorely missing are captivating Colorful charts, boxes and most importantly Pictures ...

I have used this book for many years and have found it extremely helpful. Each nerve conduction technique is explained in detail, as well as its possible variations, and very didactic shematic drawings are provided. Normal values found by various authors are always provided. In fact, the only thing I dislike about this book is the lack of a good hard cover...
