This book discloses the historical facts behind the rumors that the CIA did train people like Osama bin Laden as Muslim rebels to fight off the Soviets in Afghanistan in the late seventies and eighties. This is an interesting view of this madman although the material is getting dated. There are not a lot of other detailed works of his life so this may be your best bet. The book moves ok with some interesting facts but I doubt it will keep you up at night.
