Great XML Reference Book.
Other than the fact that you can tell that the book was written by 5 different guys because of the the difference in writing styles between chapters, overall it is packed full of information and a handy reference.

Eases the Transition
OK, so you really know that you need to move on to Style Sheets and the new version of HTML. But you've put it off. Serves it's purpose.....I like it
I had an interest in web development years ago when I invested some time going through free html tutorials online. About a month ago I purchased this book to get my feet wet again, and I have to say that this book served its purpose. The title does say "Beginning Web Programming..." ...

Excellent book for bringing you up to speed

I didn't really know where to start, but I ended up with this book, and it has been a lifesaver. I took the time to work through the examples in a select few key chapters, and was amazed that after only a couple of days I had developed the skills ...
