The Trouble With Tink (A Stepping Stone Book(TM))14 reviews
Kiki Thorpe, Judith H. Clarke

RH/Disney, 2006

We LOVE this series!!!
We own all of this series! Started reading them when my daughter was 4 (she just turned 5 now), and they are age appropriate. Not too scary and always a happy ending. One book only takes us about 4-5 nights worth of reading together. The longer ones are good too "Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg" and "Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand", but they are a little bit scarrier than the ...

Laura Driscoll

RH/Disney, 2006

a good book,
Hi well to start I read this and a lot of the other disney fairy books and this one is my favorite. I guess I like it the best cause it's kinda a mystery and I love mysterys and it's about Vidia my favorite fairy. The only problem I can see is it's a short novel and I like long ones. But overall I like this book gotta go hope this was helpful Brooke.

Lily's Pesky Plant (A Stepping Stone Book(TM))6 reviews
Kirsten Larsen

RH/Disney, 2006

A Great Book!
Opinion: I liked this book more than The Trouble with Tink, but not as much as I liked Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg and Vidia and the Fairy Crown though. Lily is much better than I imagined her to be and so is her story. Lily's friend Iris is funny and sensitive, making the story have a deeper meaning than just what you're expecting. This made the sory mean more to me. Summery: Lily ...

Beck and the Great Berry Battle review by StoryMaker
Never Land is a magical island very far away from this planet. You probably have heard of it before. You probably have seen movies about it or read books about it or both. As you should know, in Never Land you never grow old. And you probably have heard something about fairies living there, or something of the sort. Well, now you can learn more about the mystical Never Fairies. Learn their ...

Rani in the Mermaid Lagoon (A Stepping Stone Book(TM))15 reviews
Lisa Papademetriou

RH/Disney, 2006

One of my favorites out of the series
I think we have all had our own times where felt left out or just plain useless. Rani goes on an adventure to find where she fits into the world of the faeries. She wants to feel she can make a difference in Pixie Hollow, but, because she is different from the others, now they only see her differences. In some ways they see her as incapable of using her talent as she always has. Rain comes to ...

Fira and the Full Moon (A Stepping Stone Book(TM))9 reviews
Gail Herman

RH/Disney, 2006

2nd Grader loves these books.
My 8 y.o. has fallen in love with these books. You typically can't fail with Disney products and these are no exception. The stories are interesting and unlike some series books for this age range, these books stand alone and are not "formula" books where only the names and places are changed, but the same event takes place. Each fairy has a talent and her talent solves the problem in her ...

One Whole and Perfect Day2 reviews
Judith Clarke

Allen & Unwin, 2007

Delightful book
As another reviewer has noted, the ending of this book is not "realistic"...but that's perhaps one goal of the novel: Lily wants one whole and perfect day and she finally gets it in the end after a whole truckload of family dysfunction--a father who abandoned her even before she was born, an artsy-fartsy brother who can't stick to anything, a soft-hearted mother who relies on Lily to be the ...

A Masterpiece for Bess (A Stepping Stone Book(TM))9 reviews
Lara Bergen

RH/Disney, 2006

Imagination central!
My nine year old daughter loves fairy books about Tinkerbell and her friends. She absolutely devours them as soon as I get them. What a boost for her imagination!

If they loved "Dinosaur" they'll love reading about Aladar
My nephew is such a huge fan of the movie, "Dinosaur". He wants to know everything about Aladar, and this book has everything you ever wanted to know about him. What a joy it was to find this book. Now I'm getting one for all his cousins!!

Tink, North of Never Land (Disney Fairies Chapter Books)4 reviews
Kiki Thorpe, 2007

Tink learns about friendship... and keeping emotions in check
Focused on the concept of regret, this lovely story involves Tinker Bell and her friend Terence, the sparrow man. Terence has a crush on the fairy, and Tink likes him, too. But one morning when Terence tries to help Tink, he ends up breaking her favorite bowl. She blows up at him and tells him to leave her alone. Stung, he leaves, vowing to never bother Tinker Bell again. The water fairy ...

Enjoyed the everyday humor and insight into life. It helped me find laughter in my own and in the common experiences we all share.

Wolf On The Fold2 reviews
Judith Clarke

Front Street imprint of Boyds Mills Press, 1998

Five GOLD Stars!
So many beautiful images in this book. Kenny's mum waving goodbye as her 14 year old son sets off to look for work after his father has died... The words of the poem that flashed through Kenny's mind that kept the stranger in the firelight from hurting him... Vonny Cooney trying to teach Daffy Kevin to read... Gabriel's luscious figs in a basket of green leaves in the market in Jerusalem... ...
