Another great one from Karma Wilson
We got this for my 3 yr old for Christmas and it has become one of both of our favorites. "Bear Snores On" has longtime been in my top 5 of children's books to read to her, and this one is another wonderful story. We've been reading it a lot lately with both of us having bad winter colds and there's something soothing and relatable about it. I love how it ends -- Bear finally feels better, but ...

these bear books are adorable!!!
Not only do I adore the illustrations and rhythmic text of these too-cute bear books, my 1-year-old daughter has LOVED them since the day I bought them (I got this one when she was about 7-8 months old). She makes me read them each 10 times a day, and she laughs every time when the bear sneezes in Bear Snores On. They are exactly the kind of book I would have loved to come up with myself. ...

Destined to be a Classic
What a heartwarming story with such vivid and friendly illustrations. The rhythm is wonderful and the rhymes aren't forced. The story flows and gives the reader ample opportunity to try out different voices for all of bear's friends.

Karma doesn't disappoint....
Bear Feels Scared is another great addition to the Bear series. This entire series is a family favorite at bed time. I can't wait to see what happens with Bear and his friends next.

Delightful
This is a delightful book that my children adore! I have a hard time getting my children to read any book that doesn't feature trains, trucks/cars, or construction equipment, but no arm twisting with this one. They love the rhythm, rhyme, and funny pictures. This should be a book in every preschooler's library!

Fun book!
This is such a fun book. Hilda is making a mess of the jungle with her dancing and the other animals are trying to get her to take up new hobbies. The book rhymes and is fun to read. I bought this for my 2 year old and she loves it. Karma Wilson writes several books we enjoy, including her Bear series.

Christmas with Bear & His Friends
I received my copy of "Bear Stays Up for Christmas" today and I am as excited as a kid. I love this sequel to Bear Snores On which I also own. The grandkids will love this book when we read it tomorrow. As I read the book for the first time I was smiling with delight and saying "Ooooh, this is sooo cute!" In "Bear Snores On" several animals from the woods gather in bear's cave to escape ...

My kids and I really love this book! It is so cute and I can see it being one of their favorites for years to come and then for my younger daughter as she gets older as well! Excellent book, would recommend to anyone!

Very sweet book for small kids
This is a very sweet book that we are happy to own. My four year old loves this book, and begs me to read it nearly every day. I love the soft, almost watercolor, illustrations, and he loves the simple story. This has been an excellent addition to our bookshelf.

Astounding
This is perhaps the most powerful story about the Nativity outside of the New Testament. Kudos to Karma for the way she crafted a simple yet elegant story about one of the most important events in history. And the art? Jane is splendid. This is an all-star team who have created one of the most wonderful children's books I've ever come across. I now have a gift for everyone I know with small ...

Wilson at her best
Too bad this one is out of print. It's the best of the Karma Wilson's I've read so far. The usual rhymes and illustrations you expect from her are there. But it's also funny and lively. I'd recommend for any kid 2-6

Fantastic book with beautiful rhythm. IDEA: bring text & read over phone
I'm typing out the text so I can read this to my daughter while I am away on business. Here's the text, so you can buy the book for your kiddo and do the same: Mama Always Comes Home [text] 1. In a softly feathered nest, a mama bird and hatchlings rest. Mama always does her best to keep her babies fed. 2. But all the little birdies cry when Mama says she has to fly. 3. But all the little ...

Fun and educational
Karma Wilson is one of the most awesome children's book authors I have encountered in a long time. There is so much to love about all her books but this one in particular gives a teacher or parent an opportunity to really go to town with adjectives. My daughter and I LOVE "describing words" and we are encouraged page by page to come up with some of our own. There is nothing better than getting ...

One of Karma Wilson's better books, on a par with Sakes Alive, A Cattle Drive! Illustrations are fun, too.

It's a Blessing
I love Karma Wilson's books - the rhymes are delightful. I purchase all of her books for the library. I plan to use this book in my Sunday school class because the book lends to so many discussion topics. The illustrations are soft and warm to match the Psalm verse. It's a good feeling book that I highly reccommend.
