A piece of my childhood...
This was the storybook my mother used to read to me before bed. It was our nightly ritual. The illustrations of Tasha Tudor filled my dreams, and were a very special part of my childhood. Through this book I learned such timless classics as; Hansel and Gretel, The Frog Prince, and Billy Goats Gruff. I treasure my copy to this day. Share this timeless classic with someone you love.

Great Kids 1st Book
My grandnephew loves this book so much that he tore the card board cover off the book trying to open it for me. So I bought him a new copy. But he still prefers the old torn cover book to read.

Wonderful book!
What a lovely book! I found reading this book to be like having lunch with two slightly older, and wiser friends. I came away with so much useful information, as well as a comforting sense of affirmation--these are things we all need to remember, things that we all go through. As a woman in my early thirties, I honestly wasn't sure how much of the book would apply to me, but I was pleasantly ...

I still remember it after 20 years!
This was a FAVORITE book of my brother and mine. We read it to shreds, which is why I am looking for another copy on Amazon. Last time I read it was in the early eighties, but I still remember it. The little fish keeps eating things in the fish tank, including all the other fish! Every time he ate something, he got a new patch with their picture. He got big, and lonely, and ate one more thing ...

I re-read this one at least once a year- it's a keeper!
I wish Ms. Klimo would write more like this, and tell us what becomes of everyone in this teriffic book. I've had it for years and re-read it often. The characters are fun, the situations are very real, and the whole book has a solidness to it. You know how everyone feels, and it's poignant. I reccommend this book to anyone with children, or pregnant- or trying to concieve.
