Great material to stimulate young minds
This book contains some of the best material to stimulate young minds. It will challenge their sight and memory as they look over these excellent illustrations in search of the objects in the list. While their scanners are active, the children will also learn a bit of the science of the sea, as they are required to identify objects found in and hear the oceans of the world. The images are: ...

Firefighters
Great for age 5 - 6 years old and up. Every school should have a talk about firefighters and what they do and the dangers involved. This is a great beginner book that tells about where they work, how they fight fires and how they rescue people. The text is easy to read and it also is internet linked so that they can find out more about firefighters. Children love hearing about what people do.

One of the best Titanic books for kids
My 5-year-old boy became interested in Titanic. We read five different books on the subject and this one was by far my son's and my favorite. It contains a good amount of information and photos. Moreover, it flows along with a child's natural curiosity. It is very well written too.

unusually well-written, effective and fair-minded book
This is an unusually well-written, effective and fair-minded book for children. In my opinion it is appropriate for children ages 8 and over if they are good readers and 9 and over if they are not. The book details the history, cultural aspects and results of the Vietnam War. It begins with the French rule over Vietnam and ends by discussing the fate of Vietnam after the war. The writing is ...

Nifty Little Book
This book is a great introduction to French, teaches basic grammar, and keeps you entertained the whole time. The story you read while learning is in comic form, with clear pictures to help you understand what's going on. If you don't remember a word in the text, there's a translation of the dialogue in English and a dictionary in the back. Also has internet links to practice. I also ...
