Monster World (Yu-Gi-Oh! Vol. 7)1 review
Kazuki Takahashi

Topeka Bindery, 2004

The REAL Bakura has arrived!
This and vol. 6 of Yu-Gi-Oh feature one of my favorite stories in the series. Monster World is a much more interesting story than the usual, mainly due to the fact that it's not only the first battle between Yami Bakura, but also takes place in an RPG rather than playing yet another game of Duel Monsters. The highlight, however, is the debuts of both Ryou Bakura and his mysterious dark ...

A Fun, Fast, and Occaisionally Disturbing Read For Teens
Many American children, especially those in the 7-12 age bracket, watch Yu-Gi-Oh regularly. Kids love the action and strategy. Parents love the 'appropriate' factor. Teens, however, hate the kiddiness, and anime purists abhor the editing. Guess what? It's a lucky day for teens and anime fans. Threats, fist-fights, and disturbing games (with disturbing conclusions) run rampant in this first ...

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist, Volume 13 (Yu-Gi-Oh! (Graphic Novels))4 reviews

Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist #6 (YGO 13)
I currently own this comic book in French, and quite frankly, it's one of the best mangas of the duelist kingdom saga next to "Duelist #8"/YGO #15. There are many differences in the book that were quote on quote too "shocking" for television. On the contrary, I would have to say... more 'violent.' For instance, when Keith goes into Jounouchi/Joey's room to steal his glory of the king's ...

Shonen Jump Manga Magic
This is easily the best collection of Americanized manga out. As most know, Shonen Jump was at one time a Japanese exclusive magazine that made its hop across the Pacific in 2003 for American fans to enjoy. Since that moment, it's become the best in manga and now contains a majority of the manga juggernauts. This collection is a great start for those of you who are interested in reading manga, ...

Shonen Jump is a bargain for shonen manga lovers.
As always, the sixtieth issue of Viz's Shonen Jump magazine is brimming cover-to-cover with teen-friendly Japanese manga (comics) meant to especially appeal to boys and young men, though all fans of action-packed art are sure to enjoy its contents regardless of their age or gender. Yu-Gi-Oh!, Volume 3: Capsule Monster Chess (Yu-Gi-Oh! (Graphic Novels))5 reviews

VIZ Media LLC, 2003

Capsule Monster Chess
This is the third book in the Yu-Gi-Oh series. This volume starts off with the second half of the Yugi Vs. Shadi saga, in which Yugi faces Shadi's tests to save the lives of his friends. When that wraps up, there are some short stories in which Yugi takes care up a digital pet thing and his classmate becomes the American hero Zombire. The final chapter introduces Mokuba, Kaiba's little brother ...

Another good Yugioh book....... undubbed is better.........
I really like this book. Well, I'm a big fan of Yugioh, so duh! This is the book in which we first see the Duel Monsters cards and meet the young CEO (though at the time we don't know he is one) Seto Kaiba and the mysterious Shadi. Beware though, Seto, who usually looks all hot and sexy, doesn't look too spectacular. I'm not sure why, but some of the images of him look rather awkward, ...

Yuu-Gi-Ou! the way it was ment to be. The real battle between Yuugi and Pandora not the way it was presented on US TV. I still watch it though. ^^;;;

Yu-Gi-Oh ! Tome 61 review
Kazuki Takahashi

Kana, 1999

What this is about
This is a great graphic novel. I love the manga a million times more than the show because its darker and more violent. Unlike the show, the manga concentrates more on Dark Yugi struggling with his host to conquer all villains rather than the ties of friendship. I would recommend this graphic novel to you all, but it's in Japanese. To read these chapters in English buy the Shonen Jump issues: ...

YU-GI-OH Vol. 30 (Yugiou) (in Japanese)1 review
Kazuki Takahashi

Shueisha, 2002

*sniff...*
This has the start of the conclusion of Battle city. Yami Marik's face becomes more distorted than ever. The story between the Ishtars is so compelling...but it's in Japanese. I would suggest buying 31 with this one, to avoid cliffhangers and see BC's nice ending. (Marik's lovability becomes really high in 31)
