Real Digital Forensics: Computer Security and Incident Response8 reviews
Keith J. Jones, Richard Bejtlich, ...

Addison-Wesley Professional, 2005

Excellent Read
This book is written in such a style that is easy to understand, yet technical and detailed enough to maintain your interest and attention all the way through. The book presents several ways of accomplishing the same tasks in a non-biased, non-vendor-specific way. It explores the use of free, open-source tools as well as commercial offerings, and drills down into forensic analysis of both ...

Computer Forensics Library Boxed Set2 reviews
Keith J. Jones, Richard Bejtlich, ...

Addison-Wesley Professional, 2007

Great book, great info
This set of books is very well written and provides a tremendous amount of information to the reader. I would recommend this set of books to anyone who wants to roll up their sleeves and truly get their hands dirty. I would not recommend these books for the beginner as the material will quickly give one the feeling of "Drinking from a firehose" without a reasonable amount of knowledge going ...

52, Vol. 210 reviews
Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, ...

DC Comics, 2007

review for all four volumes
DC's 52 was highly ambitious, which made me more than a little nervous, since projects as big as these usually fall flat. With the big three missing, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, DC picks up some acilliary characters and kind of turns them into the modern age superheroes. Really DC is trying to kick start some other books. But they do a good job, especially since there is a book a week. ...

Methods for Meta-Analysis in Medical Research (Wiley Series in Probability and Statistics - Applied ...2 reviews
Alexander J Sutton, Keith R. Abrams, ...

Wiley, 2000

Recommended, with reservations
This book is a survey of meta-analysis as applied to medical research. It covers fixed and random effects models, heterogeneity, publication bias, study quality and sensitivity analysis, and a number of more advanced topics, including Bayesian methods, problems with missing data, meta-analysis of other kinds of data, such as survival or observational data, and cumulative meta-analysis. The focus ...

Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Mark Waid Geoff Johns

DC Comics, 2006

After the INFINITE CRISIS, the DCU spent a year without Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman ; a year in which those heroes were needed more than ever as the fate of the world hung in the balance. 52 consists of 52 issues, published weekly for one year, chronicling events that took place during the missing year after the end of Infinite Crisis. The series covers much of the DC Universe, and several characters, whose disparate stories ...
