LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST...
This is a World Fantasy Award winning book that should appeal to those who are interested in alternate realities and time travel themes. This is the second time that I have read this book, and I love it as much the second time as I did the first. Time has not diminished the capacity of this book to entertain the reader. The book has a wonderfully intriguing plot. What would happen if one were ...

Elise: A Terrifying Novel of Immortality3 reviews
Ken Grimwood

Doubleday and Company, 1979

More than just romance
I read Elise after reading an obituary on author Ken Grimwood, in which the plot outlines of a few of his books were mentioned. I opted to read Replay, Breakthrough, and Elise. The book was liking ...

Onyx, 1996

If you love dolphins, read this!
Living near the ocean and seeing dolphins so often I am so entralled by them. This book gives a light at the end of the tunnel to what things could be like if we were to stop thinking of dolphins as an animal whos purpose is merely to entertain us at amusement parks. Anyone with a deep soal will appreciate this book. I highly recommend it.

You simply need to read this book.
While an overwhelming majority of the reviews for Grimwood's "Replay" are favorable, I was shocked to see a few that weren't. I guess it's because they are possibly too young to "get it". This book is a wonder. It would make the most incredible movie, but doubt anyone would ever attempt it. It's simply got too much content to be condensed to 2 hours. To do Replay justice, the movie would ...

Ken Grimwood

Ballantine Books, 1977

Ken Grimwood's earlier time-travel novel.
I also checked this out from the library after reading Replay, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The basic premise was: A woman suffering from epilepsy has an experimental procedure performed on her in order to help lessen the severity of the seizures. But a strange side effect occurs when she tries it -- she sees through the eyes of another woman. She feels what the woman is feeling. The interesting ...
