Witchblade Compendium Volume I5 reviews
David Wohl, Michael Turner, ...

Top Cow Productions/Image Comics, 2006

Great way to catch up on back issues
This is a great collection, which is so packed with comics it will be one of the thickest tombs in your library. I've followed the series intermittently through the years, and this is an awesome way to catch up on what I missed. With comics costing $3 each these days, it's a great value. Marvel has been putting up digital versions of their back issues, which I enjoy, but there's something ...

Incredible Hulk: Prelude to Planet Hulk14 reviews
Daniel Way, Keu Cha

Marvel Comics, 2006

Planet Hulk - :-) :-) :-) :-)
This book was one of the best "Hulk" stories I've read in years. Beyond great art and great dialogue, it shows a real range of thought and emotion from the hulk, much more than what's normally covered in the average comic, cartoon series, t.v. show or even feature film. It begs the question, have Hulk and Banner begun to reconcile their odd relationship? I can't wait for World War Hulk!

Flesh and Blood (The Darkness, Volume 3.5)2 reviews
Scott Lobdell, David Finch, ...

Top Cow Productions/Image Comics, 2005

More Darkness...
As is usual, I just loved this comic. Estacado is just the perfect antiheroe. I love the way in which this comic book uis written, drawn and everything. My opinion is not impartial, as I love this comic book!!! Being more partial, I have to admit that some times, some of the story lines presented on this volume were less exciting than the other ones, but I suppose is normal, giving the run ...

Tomb Raider / Witchblade: Trouble Seekers3 reviews
Michael Turner, Bill O'Neil, ...

Top Cow Productions/Image Comics, 2002

Eye-candy!
Once in a while you get a pairing in comics that just works magic. Example, Dennis O'Neil and Neal Adams introduced us to the Hard-Travelling Heroes pair of Green Lantern and Green Arrow. Here in this book, we have the pairing of the BIGGEST (no pun intended) icons of '90s video games and comic-book heroines - Tomb Raider and Witchblade - AKA Lara Croft and Sara Pezzini respectively. The writing ...

Rising Stars (Omnibus)4 reviews
J. Michael Straczynski

Top Cow Productions/Image Comics, 2005

It's not the topic, but the heart behind it that will win you over.
JMS has been getting a lot of negativity from the public recently. Some of this is directed at his Self-Contained Super Hero Epic, Rising Stars. Granted, a lot of this is less over the content and more about the wait for the series to be finished. Now that the series is finished, and it can be enjoyed without interruption, I think that it is destined to become a sleeper hit. This Hardcover ...
