Easy Reading
A huge topic with tons of minutia that is broken down in an easy reading format. I really liked the way the book is set up. Great way to look at the body as a whole and to start thinking about alternative and complimentary modes of treatment up the kinetic chain that you may not think about before reading this book.

EXCELLENT!
This is the best book I've come across for introducing a novice to the concepts and practice of MET. Chaitow's other books tend to go into very minute detail about the nervous system component of these techniques. This book is very well ordered and the assessments and techniques don't get lost in the minutae. HIs very clear presentation of the far-reaching effects of dysfunction in one part of ...

An intelligent person's guide to dealing with fibromyalgia
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia (meeting chronic fatigue syndrome criteria as well) several years ago, and I've read many books on the subject. This one is written for the intelligent lay person or healthcare practitioner; it's fairly easy to read and contains loads of useful information on diagnosing and treating fibromyalgia. I refer to it often for self-treatment and have ordered copies ...

Excellent Teaching Tool
These case studies are an excellent adjunct to the two volumes on clinical application of neuromuscular techniques by Chaitow & Delany. They bring the neuromuscular techniques to a very practical level of application. Especially valuable are the intake and client assessment sections giving full consideration to client history, activities, nutrition, and many precipitating factors which a ...

Cranial Manipulation Theory and Practice: Osseous and Soft Tissue Approaches
1 review
Leon Chaitow

Thank you to Dr Chaitow
This is a well written and easy to read book. The author presents both the pros and the cons for different theories and techniques in this book. Obviously Dr Chaitow is biased towards the efficacy of cranial manipulation, but that does not stop him from saying very clearly what is known, in doubt and not known without favoring one theorist or practioner over another. I will be purchasing more of ...

A jewel in a haystack -- a rare and precious find!
I've read only the first few chapters, but so far it's the best I've seen in alternative treatments for antibiotics. A must read for anyone who wants to get away from conventional medicine, has allergies or negative reactions to the current treatments like I have, or just wants to try something different.

this book is a very comprehansive about treating and explaining about aids therapy.i personaly think that the nutritional therapy and the orthomolecular-suplements are a very well organised, and the case histories,as well as the other parts are very impresive.i must say that in aids patients it is very advisable that the patients will recieve a few tenths of grams of vitamin c, and in some ...

Clinical Application of Neuromuscular Techniques - Vol. I
This is a really clearly written, concise book, with drawings and pictures of muscle positions, trigger points, etc. I bought the Jane Travell Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction Books before this one came out, and for the money wish I had bought the Clinical Application of Neuromuscular Tech. Book. Unless you are a Physician, who wants to inject the patient's trigger points with a saline solution, ...

An excellent introduction to candida albicans.
I had already been diagnosed with candida albicans when I had the good fortune to find this little book. I read it in one sitting and was released from years of guilt and confusion over my uncontrollable emotions. I learned that emotional instability, among many other symptoms, was due to the candida. I am purchasing multiple copies of this book to give to my family and friends because it ...

Current, comprehensive and accurate... this book is an excellent resource and delivers on the promise of its title.
