Triumph of the Darksword (Darksword Trilogy, The)30 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Spectra, 1997

Reader's Review
Ok, first of all, I believe I have an answer to a question that I see pop up over and over. In the book 'Darksword Adventures", a role-playing game rulebook for Thimhallan, it explains exactly who Simkin is. I believe that what is said in the rulebook is true, as it is also written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Pg. 393 "Simkin is the embodiment of magic. As such, his magical abilities ...

Dragonlance Campaign Setting (Dungeon & Dragons Roleplaying Game: Campaigns)16 reviews
Christopher Coyle, Jamie Chambers

Wizards of the Coast, 2003

At Last
I still remember the day I first saw the ad for Dragons of Despair in Dragon Magazine. I still remember playing that adventure for the first time. I still remember when Dragons of Autumn twilight became the first fantasy novel to hit the New York Times best seller list. These are some of the defining moments in my gaming career. So it only stands to reason that I'd be excited to see this ...

Dragonlance Chronicles Trilogy Gift Set256 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2001

Was great when i was a teenage, now a bit lame
The trilogy starts ok, a band of friends meet together after a long time and plundered into a long and hard fought adventure. The story is good, the characters at most are very lame, i will go from the worst: 1. Laurana - The most beatiful, wise, brave, good-hearted , lame and boring character. Turned from a spoiled baby princess to a hard fought warrior that beats multiple life expierienced ...

It Gave Me My User Name
I love this book. The entire series climbs into the top ten of my ultimate favorite books. (Which is really hard to do by the way. I read a ton!) I read this in the eighth grade (I was always a really good reader) and I love it to peices still. Whenever I want something to re-read, this is the one I delve for. I love it! I love it! I love it! What more is there to say?

Forging the Darksword: The Darksword Trilogy, Volume 138 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Spectra, 1987

Early stages of Weis/Hickman
If you want a lot of interesting, evolving plot, this book has it. It's an early trilogy by Weis and Hickman and it shows. It's a fantasy meets sci-fi piece that is just right for the early 80's *LOL*. I throughly enjoyed this series. I read it once in High School and now that I'm in Graduate school, I re-read it. Great trilogy. It's a classic tragic hero story that you can't put down.

Serenity Role Playing Game (Serenity)46 reviews
Jamie Chambers

Margaret Weis Productions, 2005

A great system based in a great universe.
Much like the show this game seems to be getting looked over by way to many people. I've been into RPG's for 20+ years, starting like many with Dungeons and Dragons, and I think this is easily one of the top game systems in the market. Many games are either complex to the point of aggravation or so simple as to be lackluster and rather insulting to the intelligence of the player. This ...

Dragons of the Highlord Skies (Dragon Lance: The Lost Chronicles, Vol. 2)25 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2008

Dragons of the Highlord skies
Excellent read. I myself was always dissapointed that there wasn't more detail regarding Kitiara's and Sturm's adventures to Icereach. This cleared everything up perfectly. Weis and Hickman are true literary geniuses!

Into The Labyrinth (The Death Gate Cycle, Vol 6)30 reviews
Margaret Weis

Spectra, 1993

Death Gate Cycle
This is the 6th book in the Death Gate Cycle series. If you haven't read the previous ones, this book does do a good job of catching you up. However, for full understanding you should read them in order. The authors do a great job on character development and plot. I could not put this series down.

The War of Souls Trilogy Gift Set: Dragons of a Fallen Sun, Dragons of a Lost Star, Dragons of a Vanished ...28 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2003

War of the souls trilogy
I enjoyed the books & read them in a matter of days. Some of my favorite players in these books were offed or otherwise already passed on. I will need to see if some of the other books tell those tales. My only bad thing I can say is the editors failed to catch many mistakes and sentence mix ups in all three books.

Weis Hickmans Rose of the Prophet Trilog (Weis Fiction)7 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Margaret Weis Productions, 2006

Three cheers for the "PROPHET" trilogy
One of the absolute best trilogy's of all time....but it did need to be in hardcover..because you will read this one over and over again. requires a bit more thought then the D&D books they wrote...but thats what made it nice.

Legends Gift Set: Time of the Twins, War of the Twins, and Test of the Twins (Dragonlance: Legends Trilogy)24 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2002

The classic legends trilogy
What can you say about this, the classic fantasy trilogy? In one word: brilliant. It has all the elements one would want: friendship, adventure, love, magic, excitiment, a laugh and a tear. But what strikes me most about this series (especially if you read the chronicles and everything afterwards) is the fact that right and wrong are not so black and white as they so often are portraited. The ...

The Second Generation (Dragonlance)43 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 1995

after test of the twins, comes the second generation
I was told by a friend that this book was not as good as chronicles or legends. So I didn't buy it or read it. I've found that to have been a mistake, since the book it very good. It binds together events happening in the test of the twins and the dragons of summer flame. It may not involve the old heroes of the lance as much as previous books but brings fort new heroes, and foes. I'd ...
