Astonishingly well done performance with enhancing sound effects and enchanting singing.
Multiple cheers for the BBC!!! Such sensitivity of production and choices as to what and whom to include. As this is the same as the boxed set that I own I can attest that it is a joy to own! I have lent it out on several occasions to discerning friends. One professor opined that driving the distance from Santa Cruz to Los Angeles was made tolerable because enjoying this set enabled him to drive ...

Highly recommended!
If you've ever visited the Art Institute and wished that you could spend more time enjoying the Thorne Rooms, this book is a way for you to visit them as often as you would like. "Miniature Rooms" begins with a brief history of Mrs. Thorne and how the rooms came to be. A great overview of lattice the Boltzmann method
This is the second book entirely dedicated to lattice Boltzmann, which is a recent numerical method for solving the Navier-Stokes equations for fluid flow (generally) and related configurations/issues (specifically and most recently). It can be regarded as the little brother of Succi's book The Lattice Boltzmann Equation for Fluid Dynamics and Beyond (Numerical Mathematics and Scientific ...

Lord of the Rings Book Review
Hello there, I am about half-way through the first book of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and I am loving it. I am amazed at how Tolkien is so descriptive in his writing and puts so much thought to it. The first one-hundred pages are a little rough, but after that it is impossible to put the book down. Obviously, there are no questions asked about how good this book is. Thank you!

Statistics simplified
I am a college student, and the thought of taking a statistics class frightened me. I'm not an exceptional math student, and assumed that I would fail the class. Then after reading Statistics for Behavioral Science, I realized that I too could do statistics! The practice problems were helpful gauges of what I had learned. Also, the text simplified even the most difficult procedures. I think ...

Perfect primer for K Street telecom associates.
There isn't anything else like this on the market. It contains all the FCC and court and DOJ lore on telecom from the beginning of the century through the 1996 Act up to the present. The spicy bits apparently were written by pundit Peter Huber (who isn't identified in the listing above).
