This is such a good book. The story is engaging and fascinating. The characters were real people- complex and evolving. The book provided a glimpse of a world I will never experience except through reading. Reading it was a great pleasure.

I have begged, pleaded and cajoled my 17 year old to read this book with me. She finally did and with the exception of the Kennedy family thematic was most enthralled that the social, ethical and political implications of human cloning were being discussed back in 1973. I loved Mrs. Mike, was underwhelmed by The Search for Joyful and glad I decided to read this third book in the series, Kathy Little Bird. Glad I did. I very much enjoyed this one.
