Canada (Discovering Cultures)1 review
Patricia J. Murphy

Benchmark Books (NY), 2004

A great book

Canada's average temperature is 21.6 degrees Fahrenheit (-5.8 degrees C) in January and 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21.1 degrees C) in July. 4. Election Day3 reviews
Patricia J. Murphy

Topeka Bindery, 2002

Excellent book on what Election Day is about and how it works!
I was looking for a book on election day for my preschool class (ages 4-5) and this is a perfect book for them not only to read with me, but to take by themselves to look at pictures and to discuss with friends. I would recommend this book actually for children 4yrs - 1st grade. (Older 3 year olds probably too!)

Grace Hopper: Computer Whiz (Famous Inventors)1 review
Patricia J. Murphy

Enslow Elementary, 2004

Not only was she a math and computer genius, but she was also a high-ranking naval officer who served well past the normal retirement age. "Grace Hopper: Computer Whiz" should be an inspiration ...
