ALAN BRISTOW: HELICOPTER PIONEER: The Autobiography1 review
Alan Bristow, Patrick Malone

Pen and Sword, 2010

A personal account of an incredible life.
Some time ago one of my sons called to ask me some questions about the British army. It transpired that a new employee in his firm was, like myself, a retired army officer and my son was concerned that this man had a senior position of trust and was claiming to have done far more than seemed possible during that former career in uniform. I wonder if the call would have been made at all had that ...

Pharmacotherapy Principles & Practice4 reviews
Marie Chisholm-Burns, Barbara Wells, ...

McGraw-Hill Medical, 2007

Excellent Textbook
This was a purchase for my NP program pharm class. However, it is turning out to be one of the most current and helpful books I have purchased. It goes into detail about trending medications and breaks down the underlying problems and drug mechanisms clearly. Might seem expensive but it is compatible to three prior books I have purchased all wrapped up into one!

Rules of the Road: A Plaintiff Lawyer's Guide to Proving Liability3 reviews
Rick Friedman, Patrick Malone

Trial Guides, 2007

more essential than David Ball on Damages !
Over the last 5 years I only battle against lawyers paid by the big business insurance industry. My practice is insurance breach of contract law and auto. I hold myself out as a trial lawyer because I do not accept the crap offers from the claims assessment software that every insurer uses to evaluate human life. To that end, in order to do right by your clients you must challenge the insurers ...

Doesn't get any better than this!
Malone & Malone have written an excellent exploration of intimacy and its dynamics. As a therapist, I have recommended this book year after year for those who can benefit from a higher level of reading than most self-help or consumer-focused books. The Texture of Industry: An Archaeological View of the Industrialization of North America
Robert B. Gordon, Patrick M. Malone

Oxford University Press, USA, 1997

While historians have given ample attention to stories of entrepreneurship, invention, and labor conflict, they have told us little about actual work-places and how people worked. Workers seldom wrote about their daily employment. However, they did leave behind their tools, products, shops, and factories as well as the surrounding industrial landscapes and communities. In this book, Gordon and Malone look at the industrialization of North ...

Art of Intimacy1 review

What's really important
this book is one of those that can change your life. A welcome relief from pop psychology, this book makes you dig down and look at the real issues. It is spiritual but not religious, uplifting but not promising an easy solution. Being used as text in many college and graduate school clases.
