Another winner in the Visual Quickstart series
I had photoshop 5 and the corresponding Visual Quickstart guide. When I upgraded to CS2, I bought this book based on my satisfaction with the previous version. I was not disappointed. The concept of these books is to provide a 1-3 page illustrated lesson on real world tasks. With photoshop, that works particularly well. I am an occasional user, and this book helps me get great results fast.

Excellent sidekick to QXP 7
Im very happy with this book overall. I actually used it in my preparation for my Quark XPress Expert Certificaton exam. It saved me on a few occasions during the exam as well (open book). I highly recommend this book for all levels of users as it has quick and efficient tricks and techniques.

This volume made a great addition to the first Visual quickstart guide. Its concise, picture-oriented style makes for easy learning. It has some great tips and ideas for usage. It also has some great recipes to try and goes through them step by step.

This is a good book to learn QuarkXpress. Keyboard shortcuts are a big must and there in there. It's easy to follow; I finished it in 3-4 days.
