Wilbur and Orville Wright usher in the age of aviation
If you have no other children's book on the Wright Brothers, this is one to have. The poem in the beginning is a comprehensive study on the Wrights. The book is carefully researched and accurately showed the accomplishments of Wilbur and Orville Wright during that first decade of aviation. Though a picture book, it will appeal to all ages and will be a keeper

Rebecca has been my friend since I read her story in a cheap Whitman hardback when I was a little girl. A lively and creative 10-year-old girl is sent to her maiden aunts to receive a good education, but chafes under the restrictive yoke of her elder aunt. As Rebecca learns to channel her energies into positive action, she remains unquenched by her dour aunt and lends joy to both the younger ...

Great collection and fun
While this collection was designed with children 9-12 in mind, I have found that adults and older teens really like it too. It has a nice selection of poetry, is readable, is presented in a very attractive way, and is just plain fun to read. I shared my copy of the book with high school juniors, and they loved it.

5 Plus Stars!
It is a pity this book will soon get lost as copies begin to disappear. I suggest you snap up your used copy as soon as possible. This beautiful book is simple, with lovely rhymes about a boy that is saying hello to nature during his day, and at the end saying good night to the moon. It is a relaxing sweet story to put your children to bed, and it is an absolute favorite of my son, and he ...
