I memorized this book when I was a child. I want my granddaughter to own this copy! Beautiful artwork--of course!

Everyone needs an Atlas
I work in national security and I use this atlas for quick reference. Every single American should have one and study it. There is no reason why anyone should not be able to find Jordan on a map. Goode's World Atlas is a classic with all the features you could ever want in an atlas.

When MapQuest is not available...
...there's Thomas Guide! I finally got tired of my son calling me from his cell phone while in traffic, totally lost and wanting me to help him find his way back on coarse. I would have to stop what I'm doing, MapQuest where he was suppose to be and figure out where he was. Of coarse, he was a moving target, so his exact location was constantly changing... making it difficult to guide him ...

A must-have
If you live in the L.A. area or spend significant amounts of time here, you need this book. Sure, you can get free maps from yahoo, mapquest or google, but when you're heading through El Monte and the 10 is blocked up, no website is going to help you find an alternate route. It's also handy for locating a nearby post office, or most significant landmarks (the major stores at malls are ...

Our Second Motor Carriers Road Atlas
We are retired full time RVrs traveling across the USA. This Road Atlas is great because it reveals (normally for truckers usage) all the routes and locations that will accomodate large vehicles and with warnings for those that won't.

Are We Where Yet?
Travel can be confusing (and sometimes boring) to children, but this journal can help parents deal with that! My daughter and I found this book in the Houston airport as we were browsing stores during a long layover. I bought it out of desperation (after all, it had markers and blank pages!), but it turned out to be a wonderful investment. It is a very kid-oriented travel journal, with ...

The best pocket map you could have...
This little number is about the size of a cd, but opens up like a childrens pop-up book. It features the city center, surrounding areas, subway routs, streets and places of interest. This is the only map you will need for your trip and is unobtrusive enough to open up and not look like a tourist. The freedom trail is clearly marked along with other historical items. Grab it!

Great for the office
This map looks great on my office wall. I was afraid that the colors would be too bright or that it would look like it's for kids, but it actually looks professional and the colors are warm tones that brighten up my office and make it seem more welcoming. I used pushpins to hang it up myself and it's holding up fine. I use a dry erase marker to mark on it the places I've already been to. It ...

The Trucker's Atlas for Bikers
This is as good a specialized atlas for bikes as the trucker's atlas is for the big boys. Typical Rand McNally work- thorough and well executed. It also looks to be pretty durable. It gives HD dealers' locations (latitude/longitude and on map), addresses, and phone numbers. It shows recommended rides and local riding tips. It gives distances in several formats. It even has a map dedicated to ...

The Best Available Freeway Guide
I have traveled using the Road Atlas almost every where in the US and the Atlas has turned out to be a perfect guide. It shows all the major Interstates, US Highways and a lot more. The discount coupons at the back also help a lot. In comparisn with the National Geographic Road Atlas, this Atlas comes on top because of the clarity of maps and the quality of paper. A definite 5 Star Purchase.

Excellent Popout Map
I have used this map extensively while navigating around Honolulu and Oahu. The map is small, fits in your pocket and unfolds as you open it. It is easy to use while driving around the island of Oahu or the city of Honolulu or walking in Waikiki. This is a very useful map!

Great for house-hunting!
If you're house-hunting anywhere in the Denver-Metro area (or even Boulder county), this mapbook is the best one to get. It is the one ALL Realtors refer to when listing properties for sale. Each property is indexed by what page & section of the Streetfinder it is on. No need to scramble through the index each time you look for a home for sale. Really convenient! Every house-hunter should have ...

A great all-purpose atlas
This atlas gets constant use. It sits right next to my desk for all those times when you just need to know what the highest five mountains in the world are, or what the population of Djibouti is. I have yet to encounter a general geographical or basic demographic question the Answer Atlas can't handle. Its very easy to use, and all the maps are tremendous. Contains maps for just about ...

Fantastic Map!
This is a great map. One of the best parts is, is on smaller maps, states like Rhode Island and such kind of get "lost" because they are so small. This is a very large map (so make sure you have the wall space!) so all of the states are very clear and very visible even from a little further away. We love this.

This readable, pop-out map is everything you'll need!
I took a trip up to Philadelphia with some friends and the friend we were visiting gave us this map to use when we go around. This map is AWESOME. It is everything you'll need to get around Philadelphia and it fits right into your pocket, literally. SIZE ASSESSMENT I first kept it in my purse and it was actually kind of cumbersome to constantly take out, so we started keeping it in jacket ...

Love it!
I am a homeschooling mom with 5 kiddos. I got these workbooks for my 9 and 7 year olds. There are great! they introduce basic map and geography skills. The lessons are short and not overwhelming. My 9year old worked totally independantly and my 7yo did most on her own too. the pages are colorful and fun! Great fro the price! I am actually on here to order the intermediate books :)

Don't forget this book on your US travels!
This book is jam-packed with activities and games to keep children occupied. The layout starts with the Pacific Coast and the Northern Rocky Mountains and travels through the Southwest, Central states, the South, the Middle Atlantic, and ends in the Northeast. The factoids of US states and their cities in this book allow everyone to have some fun. I used this in my classroom with ...
