Great Growing Activity Ideas!
This is a great book with really interesting ideas for growing plants! I really like the format, and the easy, step-by-step instructions and pictures. It is full of unique projects, and they would be great for science experiments about growing plants! One of my favorite projects in this book is growing alfalfa in the shapes of hearts, stars, or whatever shapes you can think of. I would ...

terrific simple ideas to inspire
I teach art to elementary students and have used many of the wonderful ideas in this book: making a truck out of an envelope, drawing catepillars, making crayoned paper snowflakes, and a loopy snake paper sculpture(big hit with the students). The price is great for all of the inspiring ideas.

excellent bloodlines supplement
I bought this book primarily for one reason, the Sangiovanni Bloodline. Being that in old world of darkness the Giovanni were one of my favorite clans I wanted to see how they were treated in the NEW world of darkness. I have to say, this is the only bloodlines book I've bought and I love it (I've read or borrowed the others, but never felt compelled to buy them). It has taken some of the old ...

My 5-year-old LOVES this book!
My daughter received this book (along with I Can Draw Animals also excellent!) for Christmas (which was 2 days before her 5th birthday) and she LOVES it! Very easy directions she can follow all by herself and something she uses over and over again! Great book for little artists!

simple instruction great results
From the day my 5 year old daughter got hold of this book and "I can draw people" she is stuck with these. She completed 4 drawings at one sitting and always wants to do more. The best part is the simple visual instruction that shows the way without any adult supervision. Great book!

I Can Draw People
This is a great beginners book for preschool age children. It's also great for teaching yourself and your child. I'm not a great drawer and I loved this book. I can do this and so can you. There are easy to follow step by step instructions along with colorful pictures of what it is supposed to look like, using basic shapes. They can draw a workman, an angel, a giant, a pirate, a queen, a ...

Fantastic preschool art book!
My two kids, ages 2 and 5, love the projects in this book. They are concrete and completely do-able for preschoolers! What's more, the finished projects look fantastic and colorful and they really made them, instead of doing one small part and me doing all the rest for them.

Magisterial metahistorical overview that provides an interpretive framework for an entire field of study
Alan Gibson's new book is incredibly useful for anyone who reads a lot about the founding of the American republic. What Gibson wants to do and succeeds in doing is to provide an overview of the different post-WWII schools of interpretation about the founding that is both nuanced and balance. It is by any standard a remarkable work of synthetic scholarship. It should be read by all majors in ...

Great book for making your own pop up cards!
Nice clear instructions, not too ambitious, and gives you enough information to play with what they show you and make it your own. I'm puzzled as to why it's listed as a "baby" book... it is not, itself, a pop up book, but rather a book about ~making~ a pop up book or card.
