An Indispensible Guide on a Subject that Receives little Attention
This book is about the friendships and social circles of girls aged roughly 10-15, with most of the focus on the "cliques" they so famously form, describing the roles girls commonly play in the them (Queen Bee, etc). The author has extensive experience dealing with girls this age at her job and runs workshops for schools. It's a very hands on, practical account. She argues that while ...

Great Information you really need to know
This book was an eye opener for me. You may think that the book is a very over-dramatic version of what 11-14 year old girls are like, but the book really gives parents an entire way of approaching problems that they can share with their daughters. There is a lot going on that we are not aware of with our kids, this book lets you take a look and helps you understand how to deal with it.

All women should read this book !
While it's true, the firearms section contains arguable information, this book is a MUST READ ! The information on Rape Psychology is great and the encouragement of women to be responsable for their own safety without taking any responsability for an atackers actions is fantastic. Also, unlike much work on the subject, it does not take a gender seperatist approach ! Buy it, read it, be safe ...

Warm and Fuzzy
It was pretty much your typical teen book. Charlie actually thought leaving her old neighborhood jr. high and the drama along with it would make her life easier. Little does she know drama is everywhere, no matter what school you go to. In the beginning things were really looking up for her. She started to get new friends and started her own column in the school newspaper. Unfortunately the past ...

Some people never leave 7th grade behind so how do you cope?
I have two elementary-aged girls and bought this book hoping it would help me communicate with other adults in their lives in a productive manner. Mrs. Wiseman injects humor, incorporates real-life stories from parents across the country and provides step by step how-to strategies for dealing with difficult situations. While you might have moved on from 7th grade you will be amazed by the number ...

Beware, this book tells it like it really is!
Everything from Amazon was as usual....great. The book is scary in that shows a rapidly disappearing characteristic of humanity....caring about your fellow man/woman. Read it if you are really ready to face the truth.

Finding the Strength to Stand Up for Our Kids (and Stepkids)
If you've ever tried to get involved in the PTA and wondered why you left feeling insecure about your abilities as a parent, winced at hearing a dad (or mom) comment loudly and negatively on the soccer abilities of 5-year-olds from the sidelines, or sat silently while the booster club is hijacked by a parent who's a bully, then you'll find much to appreciate in this book. A never-ending ...
