Fantastic! Done the way romance SHOULD be done!
Get a copy of this anthology while you still can. You will NOT be a bit disappointed. Ten novellas from talented authors whose stories are inspired by TV and Movie heroes. What a kick! Regency, Western, Contemporary, Futuristic... They're all very well represented here. Stories and characters that will make you smile for days to come. Don't be put off by the mix of genres. This confirms ...

One Pot Meals For People With Diabetes15 reviews
Ruth Glick, Nancy Baggett

American Diabetes Association, 2002

You don't need to have Diabetes to love this book.
This is my favorite new cookbook in 20 years. Now, to be totally fair, I'm not much of a cookbook kind of gal. I have a handful of family recipes I usually rotate through without having them written down, and I never cared much for cooking or eating in the first place. I have spent the last two months, though, trying out a large sampling of the recipes in this book, and the whole family loves ...

Skinny Soups3 reviews
Ruth Glick, Nancy Baggett

Surrey Books, 1992

Skinny Soups, possibly the tastiest, lowcal cookbook ever
Skinny Soups by Ruth Glick and Nancy Baggett is possibly the best lowcal cookbook ever written. I love soup and thought the recipes in this book were fabulous. Each soup I made was delicious, spicy and yet very easy to make. I have been making soups each week from this book for the last three months. I have experimented with fish stock for the first time, carrying home a halibut carcus large ...

Think Thin One-Pot Meals1 review
Ruth Glick

Gramercy, 2002

Not accurate in Title or description
What made me purchase this book is the title and back page description. I honestly thought it was a book on how to make delicious and nutritious ONE POT meals. Instead I found that the recipies required at least two pots and to me, that is false advertising. Perhaps this book is something you would like, but if you only want to have to use one pot, I'd look for something else.

The Diabetes Snack, Munch, Nibble, Nosh Book13 reviews
Ruth Glick

McGraw-Hill/Contemporary, 1998

One of My Favorite Cookbooks
The previous edition of this book is one of my favorite cookbooks. Before I got it, I was in a real snack rut. But Ruth certainly widened my appreciation of snacking. One thing I like is the way she gives you options. You can buy a crust for her Barbecued Chicken Pizza or make your own, if you're in the mood. It was fun to find out I could make things at home that I thought I could only get in a ...

Skinny Italian Cooking (Skinny Series)1 review
Ruth Glick, Nancy Baggett

Surrey Books, 1996

Skinny Italian Cooking
This book is an absolute must if you are into Italian cooking (or even if you just slightly interested). The recipes are delicious and the instructions easy to follow. A cute little intro leads you into each recipe and nutritional data is provided. Of particular interest is the almond biscotti and various pasta sauces. After having made over one-half of the recipes in this book, I can tell ...
