Very Well Written!
Highland Call is a spectacular book filled with adventure, romance, and suspense. I have read books of all kinds and I must say this is one that I come back to time and time again. Ms. Gillenwater develops the characters in such a way that you feel like they are your good friends. You care about what happens to each and every one of them. Unlike secular romance, Highland Call enforces good ...

An exciting adventure
This is one of Sharon Gillenwater's best. The story is funny, sweet and exciting from the very beginning. It is one that you will not want to put down. Her characters are ones of high moral value yet human. Beautifully written. I hightly recommend.

Taken From [...] My Thoughts: Every once in a while I need a southern romance to tide me over. We meet Jenna who has a son and an ex husband who ran away to play a sport. We meet Nate who was Jenna's first real love back in high school. He's back in town after serving in the war. Jenna and Nate become intertwined once again. An enjoyable story!
I have been a fan of Sharon Gillenwater (aka Sharon Harlow)for a long time now. She has an easy way to her writing and always a good story. The Town is Willow Grove and the story started with her book "McKinnon's Bride" (sharon Harlow)that told the story of Cade McKinnon and Jessie. The second book was "Twice Blessed" (sharon Gillenwater) the story of Ty McKinnon and Camille. This story has ...

A fun romance
If you have read "Love Song" and "Antiques" then you need to read "Texas Tender". It has all your favorite characters from the first two books only picks up a different story. I really enjoyed it. If you like western stories then you should read this book. It is best to read them in order although you don't have too. I highly recommend it.

Rugged Inspy Hero!
Texas Ranger-turned-rancher Jake Trayner is my favorite kind of hero. He's wise, wounded and wonderful. Add a heroine with an unknown past, some mystery and the residents of Coyote Springs and you have a great read. Highly recommended!

Good read
It was unthinkable that the dashing and impossibly handsome Earl of Beckford should have romantic intentions towards a mere servant. But lovely Sloane Donovan was no ordinary governess. She could ride a high stung thoroughbred as well as any man charm the most starchy dowager, and always said exactly what was on her mind. Her behavior was shocking, the gossips whispered and her outrageous ...

Historical Fiction at it's BEST!
For my first Gillenwater novel, I am blown away. I have already re-read it more that twice! The sweet and cute love story Gillenwater brings to me is adorable. Nothing like seeing two people who are God-fearing and in love. Ty McKinnon is the town mayor. When along comes Camille Dupree to deal cards at the local saloon. Realizing that the women of the town would look down on her, Ty persuades ...

I love this book!
Antiques is one of my favorite Christian romances...I thought it was so realistic. None of the characters are perfect, or self-righteous. They all love the Lord (eventually) but they are still normal people who have flaws and screw up. I liked that Grant went through a process in becoming a Christian. He was so bitter towards God, but then he saw how Dawn's faith had sustained her, and what she ...
Secret Splendor

This author doesn't seem easy to find
I've never seen another novel by Gillenwater, but after reading Secret Splendor I wish I had. Lady Lora Barrington is being menaced by her lecherous and greedy cousin Norval following her father's death. Hoping to keep the fastidious lord at bay, Lora goes "insane." Unable and unwilling to deal with a woman who makes (and serves) mud pies, Norval blackmails Tyler Martin to marry (and spy) ...
